I think this combo with both extenders stacked makes it an 1,120mm lens. 400 x 2 x 1.4 = 1,120. Am I right? BTW, this combo will not AF through the view finder with any DSLR. However, it will AF on any mirrorless camera through EVF. Furthermore, the latest Canon DSLR EOS 90D does AF with this combo on live view. I've tried and got it. Thank you for the video.

you know what for a ghetto budget build it doesn't seem quite so ghetto ESPECIALLY with some finish work and interior work. but, not every can do goo DIY interior work or get it done cheap and good. STILL seems pretty sweet for camping though! sucks you had to cut the mattress but, looks comfy! all in all ...not bad!!!!

I love the humor, had to like the video right in the middle of watching. This was a great tutorial, but I had a suggestion. Is there anyway you could try using a fuel source that already comes in tubes? So that every time you wanted to refuel the combustion chamber all you have to do is stick in a fuel rod.

I have a question I have a 90D camera I tried stacking the extenders 2x and 1.4x on a 100-400 II L lens using a 12mm canon spacer. When I tried to take a photo I get the error code 01 saying clean contacts the contacts are clean and all gear is in a new condition. I tried to take a photo on the eos R on same lens setup but nothing happens. I tried same set up on 7dII and it works what's your thoughts of what is going on? Regards Paul

be intreasting to see how many x2 converters it would take to destroy an image, obviously it would need to be a bright object test like the moon or a very sunny day, i have a canon III x2 on my 100-400 sigma with my M50 crop camera and its still got good light so i'm on the look out for another canon x2, i got the first one from ebay so i didn't shell out a load for it. i prefer to buy my canon extras 2nd hand because the build quality is very good, i bought the siggy new because i figured it would be better than getting something like that already worn in. the M50 was new cos it was a birthday pezzy for my 50th. oh and yes the auto focus does still work on the set up, if the object has limited contrast then i need to manual focus

Your math is incorrect. 400 x 2 x 1.4 = 1,120. And you distance focusing would also be effected.
@dns4kworks338
@dns4kworks338 4 жыл бұрын
In math terms yes 1,120 to be precise, in camera terms its concerned 1200. And yes focussing is fluctuated, you have to manual focus, or set the camera to live shoot and the auto focus works fine. Thats for the 1Dx markII . I personally don't like shooting 1200 because the further away the subject is to your camera the less detail and natural color you tend to grasp through the sensor. Between 70mm and 800mm is where you are gonna get the most crisp and vibrant shots of animals. Heres a good way to look at it, if you took a picture of your wife standing way out in a field with a 1200mm f 11 lens set up getting her to fit perfectly in your camera visor VS you walking up closer to her with a 200mm f 2.8 or even 800 f 5.6lens and compared the results with the 1200mm. picture speaks for itself. I know from experience 26 years ive been shooting nature, my lens choice I generally shoot with is my 600mm f4 lens 400mm f 2.8 my 200mm 1.8 and my 70-200mm 2.8 lens, for my landscapes I shoot with my 16-35mm 2.8 and my 8-15mm f4 lens I also shoot macro as well. and on the sides I shoot weddings and book photo gigs for people. This video, from an engineering point of view, is Certified Woke. You literally don't say anything at all that's wrong. The only suggestion I have is to get a vacuum pump, cover over the hot tar, and pull out as much air as you can from the tar while it's cooling. That should help reduce the unsteady burning. Reducing the size of your nozzle throat will help you get combustion at lower pressure, which will speed up the "real" ignition of the engine (in your test it spent a while as a flamethrower). Also, please replace the rubber hose you use with the oxygen tank with a teflon lined braided steel hose. More expensive, but it won't catch fire if the hose gets hot from the heat of the engine.

Hey you guys! Where do you live? I would like to get a little help with my van. I picked up a 1990 Ford econoline conversion with 28,000 miles on it. I gutted the inside (they had put a toilet in and didn't dump it. Gross). One thing led to another until it was down to the metal. Im learning as I go. The biggest problem I have is that I can t stand up in it, and it has made my neck worse than already was. So, yeh.... A high top is something I've been wanting. Im a single chick, and have done everything myself. I don't mind at all, though. I love tools, and I so badly want (I dream about it) to cut the top off! LOL

How heavy was the entire top ? Im getting ready to remove a top from a van at a scrap yard. Im kinda concerned about the weight.
@chrisreed26
@chrisreed26 5 жыл бұрын
It would weight a bit more than you would expect a boat of the same size would as the top from say a conversion van may have a lot of decor add ons like wood cabs, insulation, lights, foam etc..all the stuff you see on the inside of a conversion van..unless you found one from a church bus or handicap transport van

too bad you did not show how you did this step by step. In other words, showing the progress from start to finish. Did you gel coat after you fiberglass the pieces together?? was it rivets or screws for attaching the sides to the van?? how much caulking you use to seal out moisture from where you attached the top to van??
