After seeing this I realize Arnold, although smart, would have made a wiser descision to have swapped Meyer and Lucky in both Chalky’s and Nicky’s first interactions. Both bosses and right hand men. It probably would have altered the whole show probably history if it had been fully documented.

I watched this show when it first came out, and I’m baffled they didn’t do a spin off leading into the 5 families. Major opportunity missed here wi th such great actors!

Interesting how once Rothstein cut ties with Luciano, his ultimate downfall began. By season 4, Rothstein had been squeezed out of the heroin business by the Italians. But Luciano stayed partnered with Meyer and eventually became the Godfather of the Italian mafia. An Italian and Jewish partnership. Probably the best analogy for the expression '2 head are better than 1.'

Great little detail showing Rothstein betting on his Pool game against Luciano. As a gambling addict, he was always chasing the thrill of winning/losing money.
