The flocked panther was a walmart exclusive. The plastic one was the standard release. You can still get the plastic one at Big Bad Toy Store.

I agree mostly, annoying crossovers everywhere, but.... This series honestly got to me, MOTU & TMNT were my favorite growing up, so I love these. As a kid I would mix my Real Ghostbusters toys with the Beatlejuise cartoon figures. I felt they fit together well play wise. I could see someone doing that crossover. Maybe a comic book at least.

Do you have any tips on getting the shark off the base?! Ours doesn’t pop up anymore and reset tips in the instructions don’t work so trying to take him off to look at him.

Hello, Sorry for the delay. Those are always hard to remove, unfortunately I don't have many tips for that. Other than maybe using multiple small screwdrivers to prop the tabs open on the bottom and pull up as well as back like your putting the shark in a headlock. But ... If someone there is confident, I would remove the 6 screws on the bottom. Under that octopus plate is the actual mechanism for the shark. Be careful opening it, there are many loose parts that may be lost, I recommend sitting on a floor over a towel to be safe. And take a photo of the interior rite away, so you know where everything goes. Most likely the problem is in there, perhaps a beverage leaked in and gummed things up.

Also when you have it back together... There are two small finger nail size buttons on the top plate you can press to manually activate the two pop up options, so you can test without full assembly. Again sorry for the delay, I had to fetch the item from storage. Too many toys!

Great 5-packs! The City Drivers is the best 5-pack in years imo. My VW has the gear in the bed. I'm willing to spend the $7 for one vehicle, but not twice 🤣. If I collected HW, those would be the two I kept as well.

As far as I know, yes. They are slowly getting there. They will be on a large pallet size shipper display in the aisle. May want to look around, my local store had the display near office supplies, not near the toys at all.

Actually yes! After pulling the hood back, and a bit of pressure, it popped right off! On a ball socket.

As a kid, I would've played with this toy for hours and then stuck it under the bed until next time. But as an adult, I have the need to display it. But I don't have the space. So it was pre-ordered and never opened. So I think I got it 40 years too late. Cool review.
