If I was buying anything like bumper related used them in England would be the ryetec workbox with the weight can put on and take off the weight when ye need it

Heva front roller are a good job, we bought a 3m folding, very happy with , yes it is heavy ; but its still about a ton less than a cross 3m. Only thing to watch out for with the paddles, the ones on the outer edge are inclined to throw clay or clods back on to what you've just sown.
@ShaneBTFarms6 күн бұрын
I noticed that. I was tempted to loose the outer two paddles? I know a few people have done that before. Overall a great press

You will take on and off the mx in seconds once you get used to it, just keep ground level and have a wall in front of you.
@ShaneBTFarms11 күн бұрын
I’ve done it a few times already but that tractor always has the loader on. Learnt the hard way 😂
@JeanFinnegan-j4z11 күн бұрын
Great video lad ...is there more visibility with the Mx than quicke?? Also how much of a difference was there? You don't have to say what you gave for her but if you could say the price difference
@ShaneBTFarms11 күн бұрын
Yeah they’re would be in my opinion. Slightly narrower. I’ll double check but the mx was a higher spec’d loader with more reach and she was cheaper.
@anthonymccluskey382210 күн бұрын
Slats for your cattle would reduce your work load.
@ShaneBTFarms10 күн бұрын
I like the dung for the tillage ground. Plus we have straw that we wouldn’t sell so it serves a purpose, the sheer cost of slats wouldn’t make it viable for us.

Yeah do a lot of loader work, ever consider a telehandler? Hard to have everything though!!
@ShaneBTFarmsАй бұрын
Would be a dream alright, currently have 4 tractors with loaders. Handy around the yard the tele but for the likes of delivering we would still need a loader tractor.

I think it’s around €20k mark. Yeah it does a great job. I had that down about 10/12 inches only on tramlines back to around 7 normally.

Do you not swap ground with the potatoe lads for the big money
@ShaneBTFarmsАй бұрын
Nope, our own land is farmed by us. I think potatoes do alot of damage to ground.
@TheGrimReaper1Ай бұрын
@@ShaneBTFarms is that because of soil compaction by the tractors and trailers/machinery etc or because the potatoes damage the soil as they grow?

New to your channel recently but great videos👌👌✨️✨️. What was the speed difference between the overrun and the Kuhn ploughs? Did they turnover the same width of ground? Thanks 🙏🙏
@ShaneBTFarms2 ай бұрын
With Both ploughs I would do around 8.2-7kmph. I haven’t measured them fully but I have noticed that I think anyway the Kuhn ploughs ever so slightly wider when out full.

Overum very good plough we have still 3 of them. I wanted a change, I heard good things about the Kuhn and they put a good deal together. Did price and overum and it was a good chunk more. That said I’d have no problem going and doing a couple of days with the overum. Think there’s 600kg in the difference.
