yer don't think much holds up when hitting it with a hammer took you a few goo whacks to do any damage it held up.

Everyone is asking why you breaking a perfectly good pool seat.
@ronaldwoofer5024Күн бұрын
because the old plaster was leaching old plaster into the water. california in their infinite wisdom and knowledge deemed it necessary to conclude, for no absolute reason at all that, "old plaster" causes cancer.
@EvanCarrollTheGreat20 сағат бұрын
@@ronaldwoofer5024 Wow that sounds far more interesting to cover than the actual work. I would be interested in hearing their side of the story and your side of the story. By any means, you gotta say that. And it's a far better title then the one you got. "When you have to destroy a pool because in CA you can't plaster over plaster for health reasons"

So moral of the story dont whack your pool with a pick?

You certainly don’t have a plaster pool. Bc if you do you would see the delamination.
@themetaphysicalaxe550622 сағат бұрын
If they were going for just "solid" then they would just use concrete

There's water seeping into the walls of the pool because of this. Im no expert, but pools are supposed to hold water

I'm not sure what this is but I would like to if you wouldn't mind.
@mrmustache8735Күн бұрын
Basically someone put a new layer of plaster over the old layer of plaster on that pool. Cheaper and faster than redoing the entire thing. But the guy in the video is showing the strength of that.

It's all clean, they drained the water. Underneath is the old plaster they had and they just dropped it on top.

My family owns a high rise bungalow about that high off of street level, and the driveway has a 100 year old retaining wall that needs rebuilt, but my gosh I had no idea a well built new wall would cost this much. It is about the same size for reference but stems outward to the main road in a curved line down the driveway. If you are passed on a large house in inheritance like me, or purchase one make sure you are prepared to fork out!
