I've suffered from it all my life, and there was Nothing that helped UNTIL I started taking Thiamine, vitamin B1 in the form of Benfotiamine 100mg. I was so amazed. On the side, I also took some sublingual B vitamins just in case. I found it a miracle and it was less than a week when it stopped. Elliot Overton is an expert on Vitamin B1 and constituted the form of TTFD which does not need any co-factors, like magnesium and potassium for the other forms.

I did an injection for my chronic eczema. It worked for a little bit but I got a reaction to the injection spots. Now the only thing that helps me is a steroid spray called sernivo

Hi doctor! I have hyperpigmentation it all started when I misused the retinol and I was expose to early morning sun since I am running in the morning. My skin turned itchy, little bit reddish and I turned greyish black. I dont know what to do? Is this melasma or what?

No. I use alcohol 90% in quantity and then let dry. The iching goes away. After vaseline. Other creames are full of different components and you can have an alwrgic reaction.

Can Vitamin C be used on Rosacea skin? If so, should I use ascorbic acid or THD ascorbate?
@theskinmedic
@theskinmedic Ай бұрын
It really depends on how sensitive your skin is. If you want to be safe, I would recommend using vitamin C derivatives like THD ascorbate. 😊

Skip dairy for sure... use sunblock on your face, i use spf 15 dry oil, wash your face with cold water, cut down on sugars n caffeine, and exercise more. My diet is high protein, less carbs, more veg... I've also started an anti biotic and my face is clearing up great, no more bumps n white heads. I stopped taking Propranolol as well and avoiding foods that aggravated my stomach. Eat better, exercise, and put a sun block on your face, cut out dairy... worked for me. Lifestyle helps, but an antibiotic has been a game changer.

Can anyone be allergic to minoxidil? Also, can it cause perichondtritis of pinna?
@theskinmedic
@theskinmedic Ай бұрын
It most commonly cause an irritant contact dermatitis but there have been cases where it can cause contact allergies too, most typically to another ingredient in the product called propylene glycol. It shouldn't cause perichondritis. :)
