No offense, but the sub titles are too big. Maybe just use a font to fit the length of the photo. But please don't stop, just beautiful.

If it wasn't for that irritating, annoying, loud, cheesy background music I might have watched this.

Really great, also many were moving, and chilling. And I’ve been in that Tokyo commuter train pile-up, and it’s exactly like that. I was also the only woman on the train.

There are AMAZING photos here: the Russian ship, temporarily constructed out of milled timber to be sailed to market; the amateur voice radio in a car; etc.

Maori doing a haka in Egypt. I can't imagine what some Egyptian guy walking by with no idea what was going on would think.

These rare photos are truly valuable, not only are they historical photos, but they also show a little-known side. A great way to better understand the past and realize that every event has its own story!

All the pictures were great, but the one that shocked me was seeing a realistic painting by Picasso. I have never seen one of these. Looks like I need a lot more art history.

Nice music, amazing photos. Subscribed! Captions are too quick to disappear before you can finish reading them though. Each time you gotta pause to finish reading the captions….. Otherwise, an amazing channel and I’ll be sure to catch up on your previous uploads.

Great photos. Just one observation of the photo 'Atlantic Ave subway entrance Brooklyn, NY. - 1920.' Going by the clothing worn in the photo, it looks more like 1900 than 1920.

*I subscribed* because these were all fascinating historical pictures. Too many of these sites show horrible things that I'd rather not see, or else they're full of girlie shots of young women who aren't illustrating anything important but are just there for clickbait.

I don't think this corporal is a bersagliere, because he has white insignas instead of purple and has no kock tail on his helmet. Morover the insignas have three flames (typical of cavalry) and the soldiers is wearing boots (instead of legs bandages and shoes) and a bandolier, typical of a horse soldier. I suppose he belongs to the 5th regiment "Lancieri di Novara" (Novara Lancers).

At 2:01 it was NOT a horse-drawn wagon. It was Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell.

Haven't read all the comments, obviously, so haven't seen an excuse, either, but THERE WAS NO Sir Winston Churchill when he was 20. He wasn't knighted until well after WWII, in 1953 I think. Raise your game.

"Raise your game" - what a pompous ass you must be! What is your contribution to KZbin? I suspect most viewers who looked at these photographs found them interesting and appreciated the effort made to post them.

Why is that picture of Julie Roberts, Steven Spielberg and Robin Williams from the 1990s made to look like it was taken back ok the 50s-60s? I can't stand pictures made to look older than what they truly are. Whenever I see pics from the 70s, 80s, 90s etc that are made black and white or given a sepia look to them, I question the true authenticity of the truly old pictures from the early 1900s and up. Not interested in subscribing to this page now.
