I heard this on a public radio station in my car in very late 1999. Announcer said "'Cloak of Frogs' by Freakwater" and my reaction was "OF COURSE THIS CAME TO BE" and I had the album in days and it became part of me. PS: Rawson, I still have the CD you sent me with your message!

I think it touched Dylan a bit that Peck said those words.

So fortunate to see him last year at the Saenger in New Orleans last year. Always, a lightening rod of creativity to provoke thought and enjoy this small time allotted to us in this realm.

Why is this so amazing. Andy Warhol was a homosexual grifter, but this album is wonderful
@RawsonGordonII Жыл бұрын
The reason you don't know why this song is amazing is because you don't respect homosexuals, and you think their contributions are of lesser worth because of their gayness. The Velvet Underground was born in a cradle of queerness. Lou Reed was queer, for god's sake.
@hannahs1683 Жыл бұрын
@@RawsonGordonII ? It’s a late career concept album about a homosexual grifter (his art was shit, his talent was self promotion and nothing else), not usually where great art is born. That’s my point. Andy Warhol’s art is boring and low quality. You have to kinda take a meta perspective to enjoy this album. Lou Reed and kinda John Cale are very intelligent, degenerate and pretentious people. It’s interesting to see what they THOUGHT their relationship with Andy Warhol was like and what they considered him.

This collaboration shows the true genius of Loretta Lynn... it shows her guts to do something outside the box.. it shows that age is not a barrier to creativity.... I think Loretta Lynn will go down in history - not just musical history, but all of history - as one of the true greats in any field... humble, talented, loving, and true...
