Oriental rugs ARE NEVER out of style 😊 we got a hand knotted wool 9 X 12 rug for $300. The guy who’s wife was redecorating paid $4000 for it, couldn’t sell it and was going to put it on the curb! 😳 I also have a 9 X 12 vintage Persian rug I put in my she shop project room. I have had it about 30 years. I paid $125. I am really careful with it but it is so beautiful and a new rug would cost a fortune. It really add character to my space.

I adore open shelving. Saves so much time opening cupboards. Having said that ,i keep my plates in draws and use shelving for decorative purposes and for my everyday glasses that i turn upside down. I'm a creative person and change things around regularly, so dust doesn't build up.
