Amen Those mysteries will be revealed in glory when we see the Almighty face to face . Until then God says to His children "just trust me I'm in control and know what is best for you" ❤

So wise and right. And as Graham said even when we do the right thing we can find we don't know how to "rest". It is a pity that this video stops mid sentence. Graham doesn't go on to say how he became able to rest.

Takes me back to the early years of my salvation over 40 years ago. GKs songs are still as relevant and anointed as they were, then ❤ PTL 🙏

Very emotive lyrics. Reminded me of my Grandma’s front room where she had an old piano. I’m 64 now and my Grandmother was already 60 years old when I was born. Her house was typical of her Victorian upbringing from 1888. On the piano music holder would be sheet music of Wesleyan Hymns. She was a devoted Christian and lived to be 92 years old. My grandfather sadly passed when I was 2 1/2 years old so I only have one hazy memory of him lying very poorly in bed just before he died. Thank you for bringing back those memories 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧🙏♥️🌈

Absolutely… I worship in everything I do… even when I make mistakes… I give Thanks to God, because His Spirit speaks to my heart and I repent and see the errors in my ways… (sometimes very quickly, sometimes after a few nights wrestling with my mind/self…). I give thanks and praise for that also, because He keeps hold of me, and is gentle with me till I see my trouble, at the same time…seeing His Perfection, His love and His Wisdom. The only way I could get through my life… is through Him… my husband (Keith also a Christian) was a haemophiliac. We married in 1983, expecting a long marriage full of mission and children… and in the next 3 years we faced just over 3 years of illness and social stigma after Keith was infected with contaminated blood, clotting factor to treat his haemophila. He died a torturous death, and even in his last few breaths, he knew that Jesus loved him… (I wrote a published book - Stigma (Jo-Anne Cohrs, 1989) out of print, but it was to serve as a testament of our faith and God’s love for us… even when we faced disaster. Over the years I have wrestled with grief from time to time… but persevered and God kept me safe by making me busy in music ministry (actually since I was a child in the ‘60’s…). I love Him for His hand on my life, giving me all kinds of songs, words to sing and write about!!! Most of my music/words has been to teach me… and then passed on in situations and themes in church services (not in a professional capacity like our Graham here of course)…

Oh how this message p of the cross has all but faded into the background of the church over many years and I go back many. The message of the cross for salvation has been preached and sung about in the church over many years but rarely as a way of life in terms of self denial and self sacrifice. How the church (including me) needs to get this teaching of Jesus into our hearts and lives ,!

I was diagnosed dyslexic age 9, I’m 64 now and it was only this year I found the Bible really interesting by listening to David Suchet reading it on audiobooks. All available on KZbin as well. For people who find reading hard work rather than enjoyment, this is my recommendation to explore the Bible thoroughly. 🙏🇬🇧♥️🌈🐟
