Great video man! Inspiring!! Just a heads up make sure you tag it the second you walk up on it, not after quartering, game warden will give you a ticket for that!! Take From experience👍 congrats again!!

I'm happy with him, and that's all I care about. I loved hearing that. That's me, too. I hunt for me, not for attention. And it doesn't take a monster to make me happy. I lost my place that I hunted thirty years. Was blessed enough to get a much better place. Hope you can do the same.

Thanks, ya now days too many hunters try and ruin it for others on this big kick to only shoot the biggest and most mature buck on the land your on. Which is great if you own a bunch of private property but I’m not going to pass on a deer I like just so you can shoot it later. I feel it’s gotten that way because everyone wants to copy the mentality of all those hunters on tv that basically get paid to hunt trophy animals. I’m a hunter!! Not a trophy only hunter. Thanks for watching

I’ve been hunting the same three 4 yr to 6 yr old buck for the last 2 yrs . First day both yrs of archery season I’ve set up and additional days also and have called them to within 50 yrds . Though I have not taken the shot with either my crossbow or compound at 50 yrds yet . These buck have now been coming from a direction which I hard for my to access and always end up near a main road way that’s heavily used that is approx 100-125 yrds away . I play the wind heavily and somehow even when using every resource I have at my disposal . I can’t seem to set up close enough to where the come into or they have changed it up and come from and enter from a different direction and I can only use my ghost blind and use surrounding timber as cover . Still end up somehow getting spotted . How can I change this up if I don’t connect this time for next yr ? Thank you Dave S

yes sir happens to all of us seems like! my boys and i hunted 400 acres behind our place for forty years wonderful relations with the old farmer who owned it but he retired and guess who bought his land? a couple of wealthy local deer hunters. oh well we sure took a lot of deer out of there which we were really thankful for the oppurtunity we had to hunt back there! no regrets!

My trespassing signs have been stolen twice and my cameras have been vandalized repeatedly. Started camping out in my deer stand and put the word out through my county that violators will be shot. Talked to every property owner around and got them on the same page. Now we all call each other whenever we see a vehicle that we don’t know. Know your neighbors and look out for each other. There’s no public land in our neighborhood so there’s no excuse for trespassing

I tell people you either have to pay or work for the farmer land owner, I have some good areas but it's a constant battle with trespassers, people buying land , cameras thieves, or trying to take over a lease. Sometimes I think fishing would be easier but that's a battle at boat docks . I hope you find something for next year. Everything changes in life . Glad you have some good meat.

Well done and thanks for the great video. That bull nearly ran you over after the shot. I shot a 6X6 bull in Colorado in 2019 with a misplaced shot a little far back and high - but got lucky and hit a main artery. He only went 250 yards and died. Sometimes you need a little luck !!!
