Thanks for video. I am doing this but my long cord has got shorter as I am going around. So now my working cords are longer. Have I made a mistake?

All the cords will end up a bit longer than they need to be - this extra length helps make it easier to tie the final round of knots The working/filler cords need to be longer than the leading cord because they use more length by tying double half hitch. The leader cord isn't used for knot tying
