@@GogettaB187 drill it out and put new threads in. No solution is easy unfortunately. If you are desperate .. you could always see if a body guy will take care of it for you or even a welder you might trust from a shop.

@@conneryates5073 how’s your escape treating you? My sister has an 07 with all kinds of issues unfortunately. Transfer case replaced, and now it looks like it’ll need head gasket(s).

@@4808tyler this is a 2014 Durango .. so no vent on the hood. You can buy a vent cover if you want or even a waterproof air filter cover. Almost looks like a sock over the filter

Just got one of these then heard about this problem. I’m scared to wash my car. I can see the separation between the lens and the bezel. It’s like a quarter inch of dead space for anything to fall theough

@@Latte2-gp6fz I do but the Eagle Talon Spyder gets the space. 1 car garage unfortunately. I daily drive the rsx pretty much anyway unless it’s bad weather. Then the Durango is the daily.

The Eagle Talon’s 4g63t, AND a k20z1? Lucky man, those engines are built DIFFERENT. Love that sound. Mitsubishi made some very special cars in the 90s, and now they dont even exist really in the car world now.

Their aging obviously but I’m okay watching the core a little longer. They earned. We can slowly get young over next couple years and start it all over. Gotta just enjoy the time left with the legends. And yeah the Detroit win was unreal. True underdog story!

@@LouieAWDTSi there hard to find and there expensive . The r/t was like 60 k this past year and the final srt was like 80 . I had a challenger after the Durango and traded the challenger for the charger . Challenger too tight inside . I am from ocean county NJ . I know your near cherry hill .
