Do you have both sets of keys in your vehicle? The option to reset MyKey requires both sets of keys (one being your admin set).

@@jaybourbon8608 this came from the Service manager… If these options are greyed out, my first thought is that they may have an aftermarket remote start as these settings will only work with a Ford remote start and then have that option enabled in the system. I guess the first question to know would be if he has a Ford remote start or an aftermarket remote start. If it is aftermarket, he may need to refer to the owners manual for that specific brand to see how to change the climate control settings. If it is a Ford one, he would need to bring it into a shop to see if there is something faulty or it is possible when the remote start was installed, that the option in the computer wasn't selected so the vehicle has the options greyed out as it doesn't know that its installed.

@lacombeford It's a 2013 titanium. It has all the features. It has the original key fob. I have extra ones but they all say ford on them. This is a factory remote start.

Hi, if you only have 1 key you will need to purchase another one and have one programmed as an admin key. Your local Ford’s Service Department can do that for you.

@@nikkit3610 do you have both sets of keys in the vehicle with you? If the vehicle is equipped with MyKey you should see it appear on your dash’s menu when both are in the car with you.

@@lacombeford When i try to put the volume all the way up, there is a message saying there is a MyKey restriction with the volume.

That's right, 90% of an EV batteries can now be recycled, and some of that material can be used to make other batteries. The heat pump takes excess heat and puts it elsewhere, like in the cabin of the vehicle.

My own experience with driving the earlier version, 2022 Plug in Hybrid, 300 km’s per day, 5 days a week during two Alberta winters ( with good snow tires and the added weight of the EV Battery), traction was great. I never once wished I had AWD.)(that being said, there were a few SUV’s and 4x4’s in the ditch). But I get it. I love my PHEV Escape. Perhaps that’s why there are so many makes and models. Mark S.

@@gamerwolfgamer8551 same principal applies. You need two keys in the vehicle and one programmed as the admin key. That is the only way to deactivate MyKey
