yes when she sings that song I Love You mr. Jones Tammy looks at him and it's a lot of the songs they sang together like the first day she met him she loved him she adored him and him he had to hurt her so they should rest in peace and let Georgette sing her songs and keep her alive cuz when I look at you were jet I see Tommy and George because she looks just like her parents good luck to her

At the end she says "he stands there with Janet on his mind". Any idea who that may be folks? In his book he talks about dating a Linda before Nancy, but I don't recall a Janet. Tammy was married to George Ritchey at this time.

I really know how George Jones felt when Tammy asked him if he was happy when he teared up and could not say a thing with a lump in his throat

Have no idea what show it was -but gotta say Tammy never looked ,or sounded better in this old video that I just "came across" !! A great Lady of country music -and I remember this song from my folks playing it -kinda funny -I sing in a band and "do" 2 Patsy Cline songs --I think I'm gonna add this too !!!

It's so sad realizing she was only about 53 years old in this video. Her health was so bad she looked 15-20 years over that. Poor Tammy. She was beautiful and had it rough

There was always love between George and Tammy. They just could not live together so they went their own ways. George's last wife Nancy was a very good influence on him and really changed his life.
