Hi sorry it’s me again! 🤣 so I’ve completed my first slipper sock but there seems to be gaps down one side mainly where the anchor peg is to the 1st peg, it’s like a line down the sock that’s looser than the rest, do you know how I stop this from happening? Thanks x
@GinaLay17 сағат бұрын
Hmm, what size of yarn are you using? Are you wrapping the same way around the peg?

Hello, can I start by putting my slit knot on the anchor peg. Also, I saw that you started binding off to start the arms for the leg hole for the dog to put his/her leg through. I did a pair of slippers and the person binded off like you did but when I binded off and took my project off the loom it unraveled like I wanted to take it apart. Is there another way you bind off without the project unraveling? Also, I see you started going to the left, I'm right handed is this project for left handed people? Its kinda hard to donthis project going to the left when I'm right handed and want to do it going to the right.
@GinaLay5 күн бұрын
Hello! 👋 Yes you sure can. 😊I am not sure about the binding off part. Hmm 🤔 I wonder why that is happening? It definitely should NOT be unraveling. I recommend watching the bind off process again and making notes or mental notes of the process. Go nice and slow. I like to say watch and pause. Do the step. Go to the next step. You can actually go whichever way is most comfortable. I have the same problem. But it all works out. ♥️😊

I'm still a little confused on the heel portion of the sock, and I did have a look at your other linked video. That one is saying peg 5 when it looks like peg 4, or what is peg 4 according to this tutorial. The heel portion ends with saying peg 4 has 2 strands on it, but in this video it has 3. I'm not quite sure what I should be doing as the videos are contraditcing each other unless I've missed something, which wouldn't be the first time.
@ViolasandEmeralds6 күн бұрын
@@GinaLay As I said, I already watched it and it's contradicting this one just a hair. In the end, I decided to just go ahead and go for it, and I must've done it correctly because it turned out just fine. I finished up the first sock a few minutes ago.

Hello Gina, hope all is well. I'm on Amazon looking at the 31, 36 and 41 peg loom. What is the difference in the number of pegs?
@GinaLay20 күн бұрын
@@melissareid4435 Hello Melissa. Thank you!😊🙏 How are you? On Amazon the round pegs are bigger circumference. Most kits have the same space in between the pegs. So, if you are making a sweater for a mini chihuahua you would use the smallest loom, but a bigger dog would use a bigger loom. Does that make sense?
