56:54 I mean I hate to have to tell you this Youngmi but leaving aside the fact that a colonizer is anyone who starts colony, the idea you espouse here is what's known as racism. And also misogyny per the 'women just copy what men do' part.

This is supposed to be Stephane's interview. Why are these two jackasses going on about their personal life? Nobody cares about them. I just want to hear Stephanie Hsu.

During that period of WW2, tens of millions of Europeans lost loved ones, houses and whole towns and then when taken over by Russians had their women raped and their possesions taken. There's a million stories of misery.

A small note - Asawa learned the looping technique from artisans in Toluca Mexico who made looped-wire baskets for eggs. While she did not invent the looping technique itself, she developed and adapted it into the sculptural forms she is known for today :) Great discussion!

I am an Australian citizen but I lived in China for 15years. I graduated in New York in 2020, my US Visa was expiring but I couldn’t go home to China because of covid restriction. So I have to go back to Australia and stayed there for two years without any family member and basically no friend. Thought the restriction will be ending soon but nah. Finally home for two months now after a three year separation
