Reach out to your dealer and see, we’ve only flown the colibri with the Power2Fly Titan engine.

@@jacobhorton6759 Ok thanx for the reply, I ordered it from Darren at Carolinappg. I'll reach out.

Its should, I have the same set up and it came with 4 straps. 2 for the cage support (a must) and 2 for the seat-to-trike support.

Very nice video but on the safety side of things I would plug the battery in from the safe side of the prop cage. Even though the switch may be off you never know what could happen when you make that motor hot so I wouldn't want my head under that prop when making that connection. You never know can't be too safe.

Jacob, I have viewed your other videos of the buildout of the Fenix XC trike with the Cosmos 300. Is there a possibility you might have a video on how to harness the APCO Mayday Reserve to the Fenix frame? This would help greatly.
@jacobhorton67592 жыл бұрын
Yes I do hoping to finish the edit up soon and post it! Contact me on my Instagram and I can shoot you some pictures of the reserve mounted to the trike!! Instagram is jacob0horton!

Jacob, I am in the process of mounting my Cosmos , I am also in the process of adding a fuel sender (drilling the middle to lower a SS vertical float rod) from the tank to an analog gauge on a console along with Voltimeter, RPM, Hrs, and EGT temp. anyway I wanted to ask: What is the torque for the propeller screws (6)? I did not find any reference in the Vittorazi manual. General chat on other forums indicate the bolts on Carbon Fiber props should be 12Nm. Is this correct? Also, did you add any medium Loctite? TY

Jacob, great video. Use some WD 40 for the fuel line installation. If you spray little bit in the fuel lines, they will go smoothly on the carburetor and the tank nipple. Also, I didn't see it, but I hope you used Loctite on the engine mounting screws. It is a must. Thank you one more time for the great video.

Jacob, very nice walk through. Not a big deal but I believe there was no instruction on the pull start installation....unless I missed it. Also, is this a dual start motor, battery and pull start? If so, I am amazed at the tiny battery used. I know them alkaline hold a punch but I was expecting a motorcycle sized battery. Thanks again for your time in doing part II video! I am eager to see you guys fire it up! Its a bad ass machine for sure!
@jacobhorton67592 жыл бұрын
Hey, yes this is a dual start motor and i know we mention it in the first video of where the pull start goes it pretty self explanatory tho! Ill make sure to show a close up in the break-in video! The battery is a lithium battery and packs a punch! Thats why we suggested you read the instructions and handle with care. Thanks for comment!!
@marcor53992 жыл бұрын
This was awesome! There is no other assembly video as detailed as this of the Fenix XC! I am eager for part II, the set up of the Cosmos! Good instruction on the application of the Loctite. As for NC PPG, Darren and Allen have a ton of experience and have been instrumental in guiding me, as I am new to this sport. I am pending for this same set up to arrive! Time will tell when I will certify to go tandem, for now I will use the passenger seat for storage or simply fly without it. I highly recommend NC Power2fly, they are down to earth and serious in this business, they will do anything possible to match any package deals out there! TXS again for the video Jacob!
