핀칭기법으로 처음 시작할 때 밑바닥이 자꾸만 넓어져서 큰 접시가 되어버리기 일쑤인데요.. 선생님처럼 밑바닥은 좁게 높이는 높게 하는 방법이 있을까요?

네. 핀칭기법 하실때 넓이보다 높이가 먼저 만들어지게 해 보세요. 그러시려면 (오른손 잡이 일 경우) 왼손으로 점토를 써포트 하시면서, 오른 손 엄지로 점토 중앙을 찿아 눌러서 깊이를 정 하십니다. 점토 안쪽에 있는 엄지 손가락은 단지 써포트 역활을 하고, 바깥쪽의 나머지 손가락들을 안쪽으로 누르시면 됩니다. 힘을 주는 방향으로 점토가 밀리거든요. 이렇게 돌아가며 바깥에서 안쪽으로 눌러주면 아래부분에서 점토가 밀리면서 높이가 높아 집니다. 가능한 점토 안에 있는 손을 의식적으로 밖으로 밀어내지 않으셔야 폭이 넓어지지 않고 그 양 만큼의 점토가 높이로 쓰여집니다. 도움이 되길 바랍니다.

I used Korean clay called Onggi which is a low fire clay. (1100-1150C)
