You guys need to make a plastic piece that covers the hole showing the bolt. It would look 10 times better, sleeker, and prevent theft. You can literally just steal the thing by unscrewing the bolt.

This hitch supports a tongue weight of 525 lbs at the trailer ball. Please keep in mind that every 12" extended from the trailer ball results in about a 30% decrease in tongue weight. Your vehicle may also be rated lower than the hitch. Be sure to consult your owner's manual for more info.

Looks like a good quality lift, but at the hight you have the bike lifted to it blocks the taillights.

What prevents someone from unscrewing the bolt (pictured at 4:54), removing the receiver drop-down part, and making off with my trailer/hitch accessory? Is there a way to lock the hitch drop down to prevent this?

The EcoHitch is equipped with an advanced anti-theft security bolt. We know that it works because we have not encountered our customers needing to order a replacement receiver due to theft.

Its better to loop around the front fork between the fender and fork. No load on suspension, thus no chance to dome loose when bike bounces,cand absolute tight.

It is recommended per the instructions that you use ramps or suitable jack stands to lift the rear of the vehicle for installation.

This hitch is rated for 300 lbs tongue weight at the trailer ball. As long as you are staying within the capacities of the hitch and vehicle, you should be good to go.

The bumper isn't completely sealed on the car from the factory. You will not see more water inside of the bumper than you would normally.

Nice video. Left out a few important points of info. -The bottom facia and bumper facia come off together. -The bottom facia is bolted to the bumper facia (at least on 2018+). These bolts are not accessible until the bumper and facia are removed. -There's a third bolt towards the front on the bottom facia under the felt panel between the two other forward bolts -There is a small screw on each side inside of the wheel well that attaches the bottom facia to the fender (hex head)
