Dang, I'm sorry you hit the crash. -_- Definitely a bug that caught us by surprise since it seems to be hardware-specific, but we're researching it now and hoping we find the answer. Appreciate that you were able to enjoy it in spite of that. =) Really touched you'd want to do us the honor of art too, my gosh! The sprite is all that exists of Iris for now -- tho it's a step up from the old "developer art" sprite she used to have! XD One of our artists *is* working on an Iris illustration we're planning to use for cover art, but that's not done just yet.

If it helps, I can tell you where happens the crash in my case, in this video playthrough kzbin.info/www/bejne/iH_UXnuaotFnr9ksi=OStpxulSRKFIVs-n In the time 19:38 when the player go to the next room in that blackscreen transition is when the game crash and close, I have tried various times pass that part and I have succeed in passing this part, but the sprites of the boss are loaded just as a plain brown rectangle in the rooms where the boss is moving in the background. The same happens in the room before the fight with the boss, the game crash and close in the black screen transition when you enter the room of the boss, but if it let you pass after some tries the sprite of the boss looks just like a big white rectangle. Yeah I don't have an NVidia video card, I use an AMD RX6700, is not the first time it give me some problems with 2D games. BTW, there is a certain art style for Iris design? I know she belongs to a steampunk world, but let's say she looks like she was drawn by Masashi Kishimoto or she looks like she was from Attack of Titan universe, or she looks like she was from Dragon Quest or she looks like certain character from an anime or cartoon from the 90's, just give me a hint about how she should looks like. Sorry for the inconvenience, the game is great and I really want to play it.

Yeah, long story short this project has only been able to progress in our spare time, but we decided we were in a good place to make a strong push again this year. We're feeling motivated and ready to make the rest of it come together at last. 🙂 Awesome that you remember our old announcement -- we weren't sure how many eyes were still on us. Thank you! The game is progressing slowly but surely! We have one primary sprite artist and one primary environment artist, both working on the game part time. But the finish line is in sight for us!
