interesting .. i have long thought about keep things simple... a simple backing can do so much... more than some may know.

no question a guitar can be used as a Percussion Instrument... something i do with my Bass quite often... there are so many 'little things' you can do to get that 'perfect sound'.... they are almost endless. surely the Bass is the Rhythm Section 90% of the time but there is nothing stopping you from helping out your fellow Percussionist .. the Drummer.... doing things like you are showing here are Priceless to them... and i doubt very many of them will dispute that.
@sIXXIsDesigns13 күн бұрын
in my experience... most of the "value' is in the electronics... you could pick from 100 of the same model and only a select few actually 'stand out'... THOSE are the ones you should probably invest in... upgrading a guitar that is less than stellar (from the start) can sure make a difference.. but in the end.. only the BEST guitars will ever make it to a "Great" status. interesting run there buddy... of course i am biased here because i truly love metal anyways... but just the same... nice shot.

@@sIXXIsDesigns i agree, the biggest problem i have with cheap guitars is the tuning and the lack of quality
@sIXXIsDesigns13 күн бұрын
@@Leon.Music. oh yeah... if you cant tune it via 'intonation'.. it will never sound 'good'... most of the time this is due to massive 'action' (and the neck severely curved)... other times its due to the body not resonating properly or fully. given each and every (wood) guitar out there.. grains will be different... hard and soft spots will be somewhat random... and not one will resonate exactly as another.... some good.. some bad. i think its a misrepresentation when people say "cheap guitars are shit".. that is certainly not true... although its rare to find one that is super exceptional... they are out there... just far and few in between. been through 3 Bass Guitars across 40 something years... played MANY others... some are easy to play and sound "OK".. some are hard to play but sound 'superior'...even when buying a super-expensive guitar you can be stuck with a junker... it all may look good and look like it plays well.. but it doesn't... and again... although on the 'rare side'... it does happen. keep up the good work dude... wish ya well 👍

There's always that one guy, you either can play this and are so bitter to see anyone else do well, or you can't and that speaks for itself 😂

@@gun_slinger1755 It's not clean at the end, commenter was rude but they have a point. I play a different instrument but I've sped things up before I was ready and when you practice a piece like that too much you pretty much have to start over to recover the timing.
