Would these be suitable for putting extremely hot pots on?

@@OneIdJack73 that’s a great question, no these would not be suitable for hot pots or crock pots as the heat may cause warping. I could make beautiful pot trivets should you need them. Thanks for your comment. :)

@ I like hearing about things that went right but also things that went wrong or you might otherwise do differently if you were to build the same project again. That helps me learn more than anything. Thanks and keep these great videos coming! PS, I feel empowered to try wood carving😂

@ give it a try for sure. The hardest part I found was thinking through the grain orientation and getting everything squared up so everything fit tight. With the carving itself there was a lot of carve a bit step back and stare at it then carve a little more until it looked ok to me.

Beautiful wood. You got some real talent in sculpting that base. More verbal narration would probably benefit the videos.

Thanks so much. I appreciate the tips, just getting into the KZbin world and feel like lots to learn. As I got back and watch the video a few times I’m definitely seeing some parts I should cut, some that might use some music, and some more narrating. Thanks again for watching and commenting.
