OMG!!! I cannot believe how much attention to detail you show in this piece of art. It really shows, though. It is gorgeous! I do have a question, though. With all of that glass and resin, your canvas must be very heavy. Did you do anything to strengthen it?
@FluidExpressions4 күн бұрын
Your comment makes me so happy! thank you!! ☺️ And It's 10 pounds! (10.2 to be exact) lol. I sprayed the back of the canvas with water before I began, which makes the canvas as tight as a drum, but that's it.

So much waste 😢
@FluidExpressions7 күн бұрын
Actually, no. Very little paint gets "wasted" because once the run-off paint dries, I peel it off and use it to make pendant necklaces and stuff. Any of the paint that doesn't get reused though, I still don't consider it a "waste" because it's just part of the process.
@LeeindaGodsTruewatermaiden7 күн бұрын
@@FluidExpressions I'm glad you upcycle as much as u can!! That makes ur pieces AND Pendants much more beautiful 😍 thank you for sharing your God given gifts with us 💙💚💛
@Qavvikk5 күн бұрын
You have wasted materials with every medium. I use mainly watercolor and gouache and a big part of the paint I mixed is just wash away from the palette at the end... I make no waste with digital but the process of creating the materials is way more polluting...

Thanks, but I'm sorry that you didn't like the music. I love electronica, but I guess it's not for everyone.
@lynnmarble8456Ай бұрын
@FluidExpressions just something to consider- are you making your videos for yourself or for the viewers? There's science behind music and how different styles impact the brain and learning. That style of music is just very contrary to what a viewer is trying to do while watching, which is pay attention to details, focus, relax and learn. I look forward to future videos with more thoughtfully-chosen music, as your videos are well done, otherwise.

Hi, I have only just found your chanel, and have subscribed. Hope I'm not too late for a quick question....do you re-inforce your canvases on the back to make it more solid and level? And if so, how? This art piece is gorgeous!!❤❤

I sprayed the back with water before I began to tighten up the canvas, but that was all. Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel and I'm happy to answer any questions you may have!

Can TD be sifted for easier clump removal? 😃
@FluidExpressionsАй бұрын
Titanium Dioxide isn't clumpy. The lumps just happen when mixing it with the part 1 resin. Pigment powders are already an extremely fine powder, so sifting it would be pointless.

This is such a beautiful piece. Must be heavy with all those coats of resin. Looks so realistic like the water is washing up on a rocky shore! Great job. Love from NB Canada!

I have not heard of FX where do you get it? Those colors are gorgeous.
@FluidExpressions2 ай бұрын
I got my FX Acrylics from Hobby Lobby, but they recently discontinued them for some reason. But thankfully when I was in there one day and saw that they'd put clearance price stickers on all of them, I had a feeling that that was why and made sure to stock up on all of my favorite colors just in case. So I'm not gonna run out for a long time! Lol
