The more you look like a rental moving van, the better. I live across from a large apartment complex (50+ apartments) where people are constantly moving in and out. Lots of U-Haul vans parked right in front overnight. It's expected for them to be there.

I have three things to mention one is to use a small bit of Velcro on the shower hose to keep it from making noise two is to secure the water line so it dose not get caught on something on your way or damaged by road debris, the third thing is a question, have you made any provisions for when it get well below freezing such as a blow out line to rid the lines and tank of water? I guess you could put a quart of vodka in the tank and lines to keep it from freezing.....

Where feasible - cameras on the outside of the van , front and back without needing the van turned on to monitor what's going on . Maybe trail cam style or baby monitor style ? I would also have a magnetic sensor alarm that's battery powers that would scare the shit out of someone and stun them momentarily ....air soft rifles and a good old Crow bar are also always good to have on hand

this is a trick truck drivers do because the keys aren't commonly unique. lots of semi keys work for the same company/brand semi. it's pointless unless i have a copy of your keys. If i cant make you get out, im just going to break the window anyway and come in and get you. Also, never carry a gun, okay?

Yes, the Mr. Heater Little Buddy is safe to use indoors. It's a portable, radiant propane heater with a tip-over safety shut-off switch and low oxygen safety shut-off sensor. The Little Buddy can heat up to 95 square feet and runs for 5.6 hours on a standard 1 lb propane cylinder.

@daneneedoba893026 күн бұрын
While I'm here, I worked at a used car deapership as a mechanic AMA. To answer your question: Cheaper, used tires probably. I worked at a used car dealer where this was all too common. I only vouched for smaller than stock when I "had to make it work." Because a smaller tire would spin faster, therefore your speedometer is only calibrated to stock size. Smaller tire=spinning faster, bigger tire=spinning slower. I would rather have the customer think they were speeding, than have them pulled over for doing 5 over at highway speeds because the tire throws an inaccurate reading. I no longer work there and i am excited to start on at a proper euro dealership.
@SprinterCheck26 күн бұрын
Makes sense. The origonal owner had recently put these on new just before he sold it to us. I never noticed it before. I wish you the best on the dealership, its sounds amazing.

The real problem you're gonna run into is them not being LT tires. Assuming you meant to say 225/75r16 the size difference will be negligible, but having 6ply instead of 10ply sidewalls means there's significantly less load capacity. Cool thing is you potentially have a lawsuit when they blow out from being overloaded because the shop put underrated tires on your van
