This is really nice but how does he do it? I can hit some of the low notes. When I try to hit the high notes I have to switch to different octave and I can't get the power or speed. Seems like the man is part bird.

Love this! I saw a keyboard player in the 90s play some bass foot piano like this. Did you patent it? 4k views and 41 likes. The world is nuts!

...neither musicians nor the general public could understand what I was doing. There were THREE "scales" at play ... guitar, pedal bass, and harmonica. It was a real challenge to keep them all working in parallel while singing. As for a patent: I learned you can never make money selling something that only YOU can use.

Yes, I know. But his art is found in churches around the world! It seems to happen too often when men in power work side by side with susceptible women. The true problem is the "men only" priesthood. If women could also be priests in the Catholic church, and if priests could marry like normal men, the church would be run by "normal" people doing normal things in life. Now, priests are stuck with constant temptation to break their vows ... and sadly they can only relieve their impulses illicitly with the women around them ... or boys!
@musically-assureddestructi88433 ай бұрын
@@RTaylorDen Rupnkik didn’t just “break his vow,” he abused others. And the models in his art were his victims. It has little to do with temptation or having a fling. Even if women were allowed to be priests, it doesn’t mitigate abuse. Especially if they are nuns. Read what some of his victims had to say about him, it’s pretty gross.

@@musically-assureddestructi8843 No doubt Rupnik misused his power over some around him. I'm not even a Catholic (my wife of now 54 years is), but I've long had opinions about the strange consistency of the Catholic power structure. My wife (the voice in the video) is, like Rupnik, a mosaic artist. She was drawn to his skill as an artist and the fact that, using his close relationship for years with "the powers that be" in the Vatican, he is personally responsible for creating thousands of mosaic works in dozens of churches around the world. I particularly like the way his art keeps reminding Catholics that there is no doubt that Jesus himself effectively lived a "married" life with Mary Magdalene. The number of images that show a woman of her age holding Christ in a loving embrace convinces me of that truth ... and how Rupnik wishes HE could live that way with a woman and probably the family it would bring. But you're right. Even if he WERE a married man, he might still misuse his power as a team leader and charismatic figure in the religious world ... and he wouldn't be the only powerful man to show that weakness. @@RTaylorDen He didn’t abuse those women because he was looking to start a family. Priests who want to start a family quit the Church. They don’t force nuns to drink semen from a chalice and rape them as part of a “creative process.” They don’t absolve an accomplice in a sin against the 6th commandment. That doesn’t seem like someone who is interested in family or marriage. That is someone who is a very, very disturbed individual and a predator.

@@RTaylorDen Priests who want to start a family and get married can leave the Church. That is a sexual predator and a very, very disturbed individual.

@@RTaylorDen We've had Davy Tree Experts, a few years back, remove two trees from our backyard. They were both Ponderosa Pines that had died, both were around 8 ft tall. After they were removed you would have never known that there had been trees there. We were very pleased with their service. Don't recall how much it cost us; but the price you paid seems to be in line for the removal of 3 trees, especially one being so large.

I'm comparing this to the Asian guys who take down massive trees with just a chain saw and some ropes, climbing the trees bare foot.
