Thats Awesome. Never been deep sea fishing myself. But i'm lucky to live near the Fraser River in BC, Canada. I mostly fish for Sturgeon, that can grow to 12+ft up here. They are a great fish to fight.

It's got a jet on it. It's a great motor, I've had no issues so far. I've got a few parts for it from Cascade Marine in Chilliwack. They are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Its a great motor. Havent needed parts yet, just get the right oil and its good. But I use Quantum Marine in chilliwack for all my boat needs. They are very helpful and knowledgable.

Timing is everything when fishing the canal, sometimes it’s amazing other times it’s frustrating, but always a nice place to get away from the crowds up river. Great video 👍

We are stationary with Life jackets and safety gear all around us. Boats are tied together for extra stability. When we go to the boat launch and run at speed, life jackets are on. Accidents happen and we do everything we can to prevent them. So yes, be careful out there everyone.

on a sand bar on the Fraser. Access by boat. Although at island 22 boat launch, they have a dog park with access to the river.

Gill Bar on the Fraser is such a cool place to go to! Bring the dogs and let them go. Bring some food and have a fire for the day if you want. Rock hounding is endless there. Cheers from the Wack!

Squawfish are like STD's, something you catch in pursuit of something (much) better. Deliberately trying to catch them is.....unusual.

But they make great bait for Sturgeon fishing. You got to think of the big picture, So its not that unusual. I do alot of Sturgeon fishing. Its also good to get these things out of the river, so salmon and trout etc have a better chance.
