Love the improved coverage West of Pasco/Hudson area. Thanks and definitely would love to see more coverage out deeper in the 25'+ area. Found a lot of spots using your HardBottomHD chart in that area but would love to see some high resolution coverage as well. Thanks again

Will this overlay with CMor mapping?
@StrikeLines2 жыл бұрын
All third party charts, like ours and CMOR's, use the same chart format so if they have data in the same area the GPS will not know which data to use. This creates weird problems and display errors. You should only use one third party chart at a time if they have coverage in the same area. Please feel free to email us at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Hi @moondog9322, we're not familiar with the US2 so you may want to reach out to Lowrance. That said, it looks like there's an adapter cable for the US2 so that you could use it with a Ti2. minnkotamotors.johnsonoutdoors.com/accessories/trolling-motor/us2-adapter-cable-mkr-us2-16-lowrance-elite-ti2-hds

The awesome thing about "end of life" units is that they can be found for incredible prices. We were selling these units for $350 each and they were faster than the top of the line $6,000 Simrad.

great video! I live in the northeast and will have my boat in lake Winnipesaukee . Will this simrad be able to give me the same information as saltwater and ocean information? do i need to buy another chip for inland or does it come with that information?
@StrikeLines3 жыл бұрын
Hi Joshua, the Simrad does have a built in base map. However, most folks opt for an aftermarket chart card for more detailed lake charting. C-MAP has some good options like "US Lakes Northeast", SKU M-NA-Y213-MS. As an authorized Simrad, Lowrance, and C-MAP dealer we're happy to order it for you. Thanks!

The 3D imagery is terrible for north central FL especially around the ponce inlet/ Canaveral area. Ordered my card few weeks ago and when it came in was highly disappointed with the coverage. Everything from Ft pierce and south is great.
@StrikeLines3 жыл бұрын
Hi David, we use the highest resolution data available and pull from tens of different sources, including our own boats. Unfortunately, high resolution data is not available everywhere so we include data that we feel is better than nothing. We regularly update our charts as new data becomes available. The Beaches chart is priced $100 to $200 cheaper than our other 3D charts in part because there isn't as much high resolution data as we (and you!) would like. Even so, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If the chart will not be helpful for your area you're welcome to return it for a full refund. No other chart manufacturer offers this guarantee. Send us an email ([email protected]) and we'll make it right. Tight lines!

Hi Rich, they are touch screen computer monitors hooked up to an Android board. The charts are displayed in the app we use and recommend called OsmAnd. The monitors are a couple years old now so I'd recommend looking on Amazon or elsewhere for the latest and greatest touch screen monitors.
