Much rather a true#1. The difference is Andre Risen in 96 then no Risen in 97 and 98.... your number 1 will make your 4s and 5s looks like 2s. A bunch of 2s just look like a bunch of 2s.... like the deal Harper got playing#2 to Irving in Dallas from Detroit. He only looked legit cause the playmaker was on the other side

Don’t go crazy, Bas, cause Love was NOT a great deep thrower last yr! He under threw many many long tosses! Remember LaFleur declaring, “He just needs to let it go n trust the WR to catch it!”
@gregginter58677 сағат бұрын
Also recall in that Dallas PO game, Love woefully underthrew a wide open Musgrave who had to stop his route, quickly run back to the ball n caught it below knee level, tucked n turned back up the field to race the Safety into the end zone! It was a great play but mostly due to Musgrave’s adjustments on the fly vs Love’s superior ‘downfield throwing abilities’!

I’ll start by saying I’m a JL superfan, but I have to disagree with your statement about him being one of the best deep ball passers in the league. I would argue that he’s actually one of the worst in that category. Tell me which pass he ever hit a receiver in stride over 45-50 yards? Which game was it?

@zeekayjo50420 сағат бұрын
Only thing that worries me about loves deep ball is he has a tendency to fall away on his deep balls. A lot of them are a bit under thrown and it’s more a good adjustment by the receiver where I’d rather he hit him in stride

The Green Bay Packers cornerback Eric Stokes is on track to become a cornerstone for the team’s defense in the upcoming 2024-25 NFL season. After a challenging period limited by injuries, with participation in only 3 games last year, our head coach Matt Lafluer is optimistic about Eric Stokes return. Eric Stokes has a critical season ahead to demonstrate his value to our Green Bay Packers, potentially influencing decisions on a contract extension or the activation of his 5th-year option. Matt Lafluer expressed high expectations for Eric Stokes and our wide receiver Christian Watson, highlighting their excellent physical condition. Both players, despite facing early career setbacks due to injuries, are now in prime shape to contribute significantly to the team’s success. Matt Lafluer emphasized the difference in Eric Stokes preparation, being fully healthy compared to the previous seasons focused on rehabilitation. Eric Stokes physical transformation and his ability to reach high speeds during offseason practices have not gone unnoticed. Eric Stokes rookie season offered a glimpse of his potential, with notable statistics including 55 tackles, 14 pass deflections, and an interception across 16 games. However, his performance hampered over the following 2 years due to injuries. With Green Bay’s secondary undergoing significant of Xavier McKinney and Javon Bullard, alongside the existing talent of Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes return to form could propel the Packers defense to new heights. The addition of Eric Stokes, assuming he maintains fitness and caps on his early potential, could dramatically improve Green Bay’s defensive ranking, which stood 18th in opponent yards per play last season. With an offense poised for excitement under the guidance of Jordan Love, the Packers aim to break into the top ranks of the NFC’s defensive units. The Green Bay Packers are positioned with the 5th-best odds (+850) by Fanduel Sportsbook for an NFC Championship victory, may see their prospects rise with Eric Stokes back at his best. However, should setbacks occur, Green Bay is prepared to adapt, with players like Corey Ballentine and Carrington Valentine ready to step in. As the new 2023-24 NFL season approaches, the spotlight shines on Eric Stokes, with fans and the team management alike are hopeful for a comeback that redefines the Green Bay Packers defense under their new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley who runs a complete opposite defensive scheme than Joe Barry does. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

We all know that if they become great as a young offense, they won't be able to afford to keep everyone long term. Still, nice problem to possibly have. P.S. I hate the new "anything goes" approach to issuing jersey numbers regardless of position. P.S.S. I'm old - LOL.

Josh Jacobs actually wants to catch the ball out of the backfield more. That was one of the first things he said, I finally get to display my hands. I guess they didn’t have lots of passing plays for him with the raiders?

Hot take Jacob’s will play less games this year then Jones played last year. He is injury prone and until he proves me wrong that’s the vibe. On top of that how well does Jacob’s do in cold weather?

Doubs can shape up to be a Rod Smith (Broncos)/Muhsin Muhammad (Panthers) type WR. Steady, reliable, not exactly great at anything but VERY GOOD at everything. I'll take that for 10yrs in the Green & Gold

My biggest takeaway idk if u mentioned it but Henry Pearson getting a lot of first team reps I think over Ben Sims too. He is a player to watch for as he can play the H-back role and tight end position. I feel he makes it over Tyler Davis as Pearson brings more to the offense then Davis and is solid on special teams as well. Maybe they try to keep both but Pearson will be a perfect fourth tight end to this offense.
