@libertysound8575 I reckon it’ll be 8GB, they only just moved the newest base iPhone to 16GB. Ram isn’t as much of a big deal anymore versus graphics card

I think this is almost too late in many circumstances, except for mobile, we’ve moved to battle passes in many circumstances. I’d be interested to see what happens on Google Play and Apple App Store as they are rated in Australia

@@SIFTERHQ No, but have fanciful ideas for indie game dev when/if I can ever retire. I remembered Daniel was a Warcraft fan and was working on a Gameboy Colour RTS which was super cool for the time (and interesting to hear he never did get to publish it). After Torus (NBA SHotwime and Carmageddon III: GBC) I worked at Blue Tongue Games (Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy) as lead QA, but left early as it was the most toxic working environment I had ever encountered. Leaving games diverted me to Helpdesk / Systems Admin work for the next 20+ years.

@craigprocter1232 you know there is a pretty thriving indie scene of gameboy color development. Made a lot easier now with GB Studio on itch! One of the best developers Gumpy Function is based in Melbourne and made that McDonalds Grimace game if you saw that. So maybe you could tinker away with that era of games!!

Why?

​@@SIFTERHQI've been caught in walls more than any game I have played since starting in the 80s. The sunset ends up looking blown out and no amount of adjustment helps, it's a design issue. Being shot at on a speeder while being able to do nothing but ram them is impossibly stupid. For being open world, it's been extremely railed in the ways it allows approaching missions or exploring. I can't believe they did so well on Avatar(everything but writing) and this game seems to have better writing and missions but far worse world and conbat design. There are a few highlights like nix, but so much is just awful and broken. I have seen troopers screaming they found me over and over while firing at walls as I completed a mission on the other side of the complex.

Yeah it’s not 100% perfect there are some rough edges especially when you’re racing along on the speeder bike at top speed, but I like this smaller scale open world game to be honest!! I loved AC Mirage because it didn’t feel daunting to get most things done.

100% agree, it’s such a tough time out there for indie and Triple A studios at the moment. Hopefully they are back one day.

Than 76? Yeah agreed but I think that’s the difference between a dedicated single player game and a multiplayer spinoff. New Vegas still has a place in my heart but unless you’ve got a stack of mods it looks a little rough these days.
