That was wholesome to watch plus it was such an amazing good technical sparring. I wish more people would spar like that. Unfortunately ego takes over in most. I liked the "I'm a nice guy" comments so you let the other one know that you held back not to hurt him. Sometimes you hold back while the others not even recognizing it and throwing wild overhands trying to hurt you, because they take your sparring ettiquette as a weakness

with the back foot teep, I could send it while being in a crowded position because I'm flexible and I can pump my knee pretty high up (close to my chest). Does that make it ok or is it still wrong to back leg teep when you are too close?
@riceontopstew2 күн бұрын
the only reason i could think of is that maybe the opponent might be able to catch the teep easier? I have not experimented it enough to see why it could be good or bad.

Thank you for your videos, I learn a lot every time. Do you think you guys could talk a little on defense against body punches? I feel like it is awkward because the muay thai stance is a lot more stationary and it is hard to keep people coming in to the body when they are off the centerline. I have been working on my long guard to control the arms and head, and threaten knees when they come in, but would be interested on what you two have to say on the matter.

My god thanks man... ive spent time with a lot of my coaches rotating my hip. roundhouse seems so simple... yet its quite a move to really master. This video and watching it over and over again has helped me visually engrave a picture for roundhouse.
