THE CAMERAMAN IS CRAZY. HAS HE COMPLETELY LOST HIS MIND ? FILMING A LONG FREIGHT TRAIN SO CLOSE, AND INSIDE THE TUNNEL, IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. HE COULD HAVE INSTANTLY KILLED HIMSELF, DOING SUCH AN ATROCIOUS, LIFE - THREATENING STUNT AS THIS ! PLEASE, IF YOU WANT TO FILM TRAINS, DO IT FROM A LONG, SAFE DISTANCE. NEVER LIKE THIS.

He's standing on the outside of a short tunnel; his body's probably blocked by the concrete with his arm and phone out beyond the edge. Not too dangerous at all.

Hahah...I just _LOVE_ the "you're too close" comments from all the safety people carefully viewing at home while packed in shipping peanuts, air bags and wearing a helmet. Had this instead been a Japanese bullet train doing 150+ mph, the entire video would only be 5 seconds long and I probably would have agreed with you. People, anyone standing this close to a freight train moving at 15 mph TOPS is FAR *_SAFER_* than someone walking down a sidewalk alongside cars doing 45+ mph that have STEERING WHEELS. At least here he doesn't have to worry about one of you pathetic morons behind the wheel of your big stupid looking 8 MPG Escalade jumping the curb and crushing him from behind because you dropped your cigarette while texting and trying to find a song on your f*cking ipod. The only other real risks here are stumbling/tripping from the uneven surfaces OR one of the freight cars dragging a tree or some other debris alongside the tracks. But dude isn't running and jumping around like an idiot nor is he standing there with his back to the train. I'm just sooooo glad I was a teenager and was able to have fun at a time when the planet wasn't filled with people who ACT like they are "in the know" and give out stupid, baseless advice and suggestions just because they witness someone doing things THEY would necessarily want to do. With all that being said, I do feel compelled to offer one tiny piece of advice to all adventure lovers, please do be careful on the tracks - accidents involving moving trains and people are usually insanely messy and gory. If you are alone and get hurt, it's probably going to be a LONG time before help comes along because it's also likely you didn't tell anyone where you were going nor when they should expect you back. Plus it IS considered trespass. Finally, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT TOUCHING ANY SIGNALLING EQUIPMENT OR EVEN GO NEAR ANY OF IT. If the RR company even THINKS your were vandalizing or tampering with any of that stuff YOUR ASS IS GOING TO JAIL.

@MikeInPlano6 жыл бұрын
You ignore the fact the people like this are why railroads become less tolerant of all railfans year by year. Those of us who watch safely and don't trespass lose out because of people like this.
@theaveragerailfanner74476 жыл бұрын
MikeInPlano Well, maybe railfanners like these should be educated about railroad safety. And no, railroads aren't becomming "less tolerent" of railfans, because most of the actual railfanners get permission to film near tracks. This guy might not have even ACTUALLY been at this camera when the train passed. What you were likely thinking of was the term "Railroads are becoming less tolerent towards TRESPASSERS"

That seems like a reasonable clarification.

BEWARE! of this Upair 4K drone. I am unable to change video settings from anything other that 4K. Poor support from Gten or Banggood. Buy from Amazon you can send it back much easier. I have spent the last week trying to resolve this problem. Was sent a software patch that did not work. The drone flies great. Camera setting not accessible. I have found others that have the same problem through other forums. Mine has the board that is labeled PX4 V1.200
