It seems like they are releasing sets to coincide with the anniversary for each film. For The Force Awakens, if they do another Master Builder set, one of Starkiller Base would be awesome. (Or a Midi-Scale) That, or I'd also love a larger set based on Maz's Takodana Castle, with a small X-Wing like the Yavin IV set. For The Last Jedi...A Midi-Scale set based on The Supremacy, or a playset of the ship including the Throne Room and the hangar where Finn fights Phasma wiuld be nice. I'd also like a set based on Ahch-To with the Tree and the mirror cave. A set based on Tallie Lintra's A-Wing would be cool. For The Rise of Skywalker...a set based on Exegol is needed, especially with the new Palpatine minifigure. They could have a transformation feature that goes from his zombified to resurrected appearance. Also a new First Order Star Destroyer, with Finn and Jannah riding on the Orbacks on its hull. And a set based on the duel on the second Death Star's Ruins would be awesome.

These are such great ideas! I didn’t think about an Orbacks type set, but that against some Sith troopers would be incredible!

Yeah and I'd also like if they include a scaled-Down First Order Transporter with Sith Troopers to go alongside it. That part of the Battle of Exegol is so much fun!

Another comment, sorry: It seems like the current merchandising strategy is to release tie-ins while the movies/shows are relevant and on the public’s radar, with two exceptions: TFA and The Mandalorian, which both received tie-ins years after their respective releases, no doubt owing to their successes. Hoping that trend starts to change as Disney SW releases become grandfathered in as just SW stuff like the OT, PT, and TCW, which consistently receive sets no matter the year. Anyway, my three picks - since TFA is fairly well represented, I’ll go with sets from TLJ and TROS. 1) The obvious choice is a Duel on Exegol set, probably paralleling the DSII sets we’ve seen in recent years. Price: between $80-$100. Figures: Palpatine (either revived or zombified or BOTH; flip the crane and reveal the revitalized Palps, similar to the Vader transformation sets), Rey, Ben Solo, and two Sovereign Protectors. 2) Resistance Orbital Loader. This was apparently a cancelled set, but it seems a no-brainer given how big a role the vehicle played in the film. Probably retail for $50-$60 nowadays. Figures: Leia Organa, Nein Nunb (or, since he’s just been released, C'ai Threnalli, the Abednedo X-Wing pilot that we see in the ST), Poe Dameron, Vice Admiral Holdo and/or a Resistance Trooper. 3) Luke Skywalker vs. Kylo Ren. This is one most TLJ fans are clamoring for as you all rightly identify. LEGO would probably do this as a diorama and charge $60, but I’d love to see it as a $30-$40 set in the vein of the other duel sets you all mention, or the Obi-Wan vs. Vader set. Figures: Obviously Kylo and Luke, but depending on price point, two more would be appropriate; probably Leia and Poe? Finn? If it were a play set, bonus points if it can flip the terrain to make it red/white or even make Luke disappear. That’d be sick.

Ooooh the orbital loader is a great call!

I think we could realistically receive a Babu Frick, if not his workshop as well, if LEGO made a First Order UA-TT (seen in the background on Kijimi). A walker alongside a workshop side-build would be feasible. If LEGO is willing to make 3 AT-APs, I don’t think the UA-TT is out of the realm of possibility. Kids love cool, obscure walkers.

I'm surprised to hear that someone liked The Acolyte Season 2; I've only heard negative press about it. I thought this video was going to make fun of it, to be honest.

Fantastic video, Blue Shadow Podcast! Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed the thumbs up button on your content. Keep up the amazing work. The character rankings were hilarious and insightful! How do you think this ranking system could change if you included non-canon characters from the expanded universe?

5:48 Will you cut that out with that tired old strawman already, how the anti-Disney Srar Wars crowd just wants the exact same stories and characters as before all while Iger and KK in their infinite imagination just try their damnest to break from the established formula? If we're so stubbornly obsessed with the previous movies, then how come none of us have any higher praise than "meh, serviceable at best" for Force Awakens? Why won't we stop being butthurt about Disney flushing down the toilet the most beloved EU characters such as Kyle Katarn or Revan? Why isn't a cheap Mark Hamill deepfake enough to win us over once and for all? Disney Star Wars isn't awful because it deviates from the formula. Mostly because it either doesn't do it at all (with the race, gender and sexual orientation cells in the Excel spreadsheet swapped whenever necessary) or deviates from the formula for the sake of deviating from the formula and has absolutely nothing of substance to follow up on it with. It is awful because it's held together by a person that so far has managed to drag through development hell four of the five movies that were actually lucky enough to be released, with an equally impressive track record when it comes to projects that are announced and then abandoned the minute she finally looks into the pitcher's portfolio and, well, for one, actually reads the scripts she had long signed off on. Yeah, the Rey movie is shaping up to be another Solo-type train wreck, in case you were wondering. Do you know anybody among the Disney lovers who genuinely _love_ something the other side hates vehemently? So outside Mando S1 and S2 and Andor? Huh? Anybody who says "I freaking loved the Acolyte/Obi-Wan/Rise of Skywalker"? Anybody?

I’ve been told Star Wars isn’t for straight white males. So I along with a ton of other people stopped watching and supporting it. Then they screech and wonder why their shows are getting cancelled. Weird, isn’t it.

Disney have just made too much Star Wars and it's diluted the magic. I stopped watching after Rise Of Skywalker and have lost interest. To me, it's now beyond saving.

No, it's because most of that they're making is very poor quality and even nostalgia can't support viewership anymore. Even the most jaded SW fans can see what sort of soul-less corporate products these are.

You actually thought it was okay to tell other people they can't share their opinions about Star Wars, because you didn't like what they said. Wow. I guess it's true Siths always come in pairs.

Of course it's okay to like Star Wars! You're allowed to like Star Wars, and no one actually has the power to take that away from you. But people are also allowed to hate it and present their arguments, even on a soapbox, as to why they believe Disney have ruined it, and it doesn't make them "negative Nellies". Just like liking the recent Disney Star Wars projects doesn't make you automatically a shill, or a blind consumer. You have to understand that the "negative fans" have no choice but to publicly voice their opinions, if they want things to change and go back to how they liked it before. Their "negativity" is their voice, and along with their wallet, the one thing they can use to try and get something different that they desperatly want. Man, we just want to love Star Wars again. But Disney isn't making it easy for us to do so. Aside from Andor. Andor is a damn masterpiece, along with the Dooku episodes of Tales of the Jedi. Fallen Order was fun too, but I still need to take some time to give Jedi Survivor a shot.

The most annoying people I've known in my life are those who have absolutely nothing else to do other than constantly whine about every single thing in their lives that they've found unpleasant. There's never any off switch and they'll go out of their way to bring these things up out of nowhere. These people are not content with being negative among themselves, they're insistent on ruining the enjoyment of others. Nobody wants to be around such people. There's been a lot I've disliked over the past few years in Star Wars, but nothing has ruined it more for me than people like this. There's a profit motive for doing this on social media now. There are endless KZbin channels and subreddits and whatever else for the sole purpose of complaining about Star Wars, but if there's one that prevents it in their own platform, you people get salty.

@1080lights Uh, okay? Go off and be annoyed at people for having an opinion different than yours on a corporate product and art, I guess? That's... tolerant... and... not an annoying trait to have at all? 😂 I don't know what to tell you, my guy. What *should* we do? Lie and praise recent Star Wars when we don't like actually like it, just to make you comfortable? Or should we just... shut up, because actual discussions are something you don't like the sound of, only echo chambers? Like, I don't know if you've read my comment until the the end, but I actually called Andor a masterpiece, and praised some other Disney's stuff. So it isn't about whining and hating everything just for the sake of it, is it? It is the *exact same* for those youtube channels you despise, trust me, I know, because I follow them and actually listen to what they have to say. It isn't just mindless hate just for the money, it's criticism of the bad, and praise of the good- it's not our fault that it's mostly bad since Lucas handed that check to Disney. Besides, even if it was all about money for them, where's the actual issue, here? We flock to their channels because we agree with most of what they have to say, and we don't make any money off it ourselves. Subscribing and watching videos is free for us, my guy... And most of us don't make money off of sharing opinions, and yet we happily do so, because we're passionate Star Wars fans. Do you understand how you don't make sense? Also, do you even hear yourself? We get salty when there's someone trying to prevent us from having our opinion? You're *doing the thing*, my guy. You're being salty that youtube channels being critical of your side of the opinion street exist. Self-awareness, please.

Glad you liked it! I also thought it was refreshing for the franchise as a whole, but felt like the editing was a bit fast paced and kinda rushed at times. Definitely the hate surrounding the show was lowkey the worst part about it lol. The fight scenes were awesome and all the characters had an interesting role in the story, a solid addition to the canon!
