Can someone explain the symbolism behind the processes of historically black sororities? I hope this doesn’t come across as insensitive, I love watching these so much and the level of sisterhood honestly brings me to tears! Just would love to learn more.

It’s simple. With anything worth having, hardwork, patience, vision, faith and strength is needing to see it manifest. Any other questions?

Google has great information from my experience no shade. It’s too much to respond in this post.

Brianna, in brief whenever you see this take place within our Divine 9 (take some time to research the Divine 9), it represents the strength, unbreakable bonds that binds us, tenacity and all that represent our ancestral foundation (the shoulders for which we stand, our Founders). It is something that we call our own because Blacks were not even permitted to attend nor belong to organizations because of the color of our skin. We pay homage to our ancestors through our Founders, that we will not forget from whence we’ve come. Hence, when you see the like attire/walking in sync TOGETHER=unity (oneness)...it’s not an I but a WE mindset, songs=strength (reflecting on our purpose) with those that have before us will always help lead the way, and all are college educated=dreams that were denied to our ancestors because they were forbidden to even pick up a book, let alone learn how to read and write. Brianna, there is so much more, however, this is just an overview. I must end it here. FYI.....It is a by membership only organization. One must be invited into membership. Leviticus 5:4 King James Version (KJV) 4 If a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.

so I am not understanding, as guilty of what?
@biglos_l.a.tdrtraveler89815 жыл бұрын
@@corruptionfighter6279 When you take an oath without understanding of what is being hid from you, but once it has been revealed to you that making an oath to other things is something that you are not suppose to do. Then you are guilty of it, until it be denounced. Why do you think fraternities and sororities targeted the youth in college? They have no idea of what they are doing, when they make these oaths & pledging there life to an idol in which that soul ties the person to that organization, good or bad until death.
@drkingspeaks5 жыл бұрын
Carlos C I’ve heard this argument before and as a a member of a BGLO, I know exactly what I’m pledged myself to before I took my oath, and when I took my oath it was merely confirmation of service to others on behalf of God. What is it that you know that those who pledged don’t? What souls? What idol?
@biglos_l.a.tdrtraveler89815 жыл бұрын
@@drkingspeaks It's between you and God now, you have the information. AlI i can say is: I'll pray for you and all the others whom have taken oaths and pledge their life to these organization.

You do understand that the founders of these orgs were the same age when they started these orgs?? They were in secret because blacks were hung when they had meetings. So I guess from your logic, nurses, doctors, and law enforcement are going to hell because they take oaths. Better you, you are as well because you took an oath to God to not take an oath. Hummmm.
