Holdsworth’s solos actually change the underlying music he’s playing over. It’s kind of like how a bass player can dictate the feeling or key of changes by controlling the root notes.

A great interpretation. More joyous than Gabriel's depressing original.

I don't comment very often... But for me this music is like a seed planted in the brown earth... Many people are amazed and just stare at the earth. How did this come about, how does a tiny seed become a new form of being. Thank you for letting me get to know your music... M. sends his greetings from the planet called Earth..

Why are there so many people insisting this is better than the original? You don't have to justify yourself being here. Just listen and enjoy as a different experience. It's obviously demonstrably not better.

Jan Cyrka was so underrated...he deserved to be as popular as Vai, Satriani, Vinnie Moore etc in the instrumental guitar music spotlight...his albums were brilliant and his playin´ is exquisite...

When I first heard it in 1986, loved it and I thought, this version is much better than the original. This one has a very cool New Retrowave vibe. 💿 🎶

I prefer this extended version of DSSCTM 86, because in this version there's Andy Summers solo guitar that I really like. Superb solo guitar

You love the righteousness you fell That no soul was lost to make your meal You challenge everyone's ideals But you're sure to let your won congeal Is just say No one but my kind Has an open mind You're a friend of the just, of course If their agendas are just like yours The only cause you don't endorse Is just say No one but my kind Has an open mind I question other's sanity While I'm handcuffed to evergreens But if your view opposed mine I'll flip you off and wave a sign How blessed to be adorned The queen of the informed You erupt that free to speak Interrupt when they don't agree The only cause that you don't believe Is just say No one but my kind Has an open mind Your daddy drowned in tuition fees Your M.B.A. in T.H.C.. Your favorite text through all of that Was 'save a tree' on paperback How blessed to be adorned The queen of the informed If parity is what you need Then maybe it's time you breed And stop imposing what you believe On everyone around You erupt that free to speak Interrupt when they don't agree The only cause that you don't believe Is just say No one but my kind Has an open mind
