Rejection is what we feel, although if say a correction is coming into a believers life it’s a demonstration of love and care by the Heavenly Father, by correcting one of his children, whether the child has asked for it or not. But correct, we may very well see and feel this as rejection. Of course real rejection from family members or others occurs and that’s when we feel vulnerable. This then may well lead to sinful thoughts or action. Thank you

I agree in most cases, but I also believe that some kids are more prone to be sexual people. It’s not always the parent’s fault that is a little harsh to say, I’m sure there are great parents struggling with these issues.

Well, you know about the building design. But why teach this? The old temple is gone and has been placed in our hearts. I would suggest you get back in the scripture before you get in trouble for scattering the sheep. Furthermore., the gospel is not all inclusive. Having eyes they do not see and having ears they do not hear! Woe unto thee scribes and Pharisees. Straining out a gnat and swallow a camel. Jesus made it very clear in his own words that not all are called. He states very clearly that, only the ones the father has given him, and that the Way is very narrow, and very few Shall find it. How is this inclusive? He says my sheep know my voice and obey. He even describes many as goats. And these he has not called and they do not hear his voice. This is so obvious by peoples behavior. He destroyed everyone on the planet, but Noah. He has laid many great nations to waste. He has destroyed many cities. This is his greatest form of inclusion. If you ever know him like I do, you will know that the gospel is exclusive. It is not for everybody!

Oh it is for everyone, John 3:16, who is the whosoever in the verse? It's not just some, the chosen, it's whosoever believes and accepts JESUS CHRIST as their Lord and Savior shall not perish but have eternal life.

@@oscarirma9276 here we go again with the "arminianists - whosoever will" and "elect-ists/electionists" argument. Has it ever occurred to anyone that it's actually BOTH? Whosoever that the Father draws to Christ means that individual has been "CHOSEN" aka "elected" unto salvation. "My sheep knows my voice" means that they have been chosen from the beginning albeit, "Whosoever" that person is, is yet unknown to us until he/she takes the most important step to convert to Christ. "God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked but is very patient that ALL SHOULD REPENT and be saved" (paraphrase of Ezekiel 18:32). But NOT ALL will repent - that's a fact. And WHOEVER it is whose name is in the Book of Life, has been PREDESTINED even before birth to come to faith in Jesus at some point in their lives - young and strong, or old and dying. This is the MYSTERY of salvation. No one knows until we're on that bridge either to cross it, or to shun and burn it. But God alone knows who are His from the beginning of life, and those who aren't, and we are cautioned not to go judgemental on anybody. Apostle Paul was an instrument of death to many early Christians, persecuting many perhaps hundreds and sending them to executions. And yet who would have known that Jesus had other plans for him? Does Paul fall into that category of "WHOSOEVER WILL" and "ELECT/PREDESTINED"? My answer is YES! I am neither a Calvinist, hyper-Calvinist, nor a hyper-Arminianist. I'm just plainly a person who believes that God from the beginning has chosen who are His from among the great population of "whoevers". God's plan and method is FOOLPROOF and ERRORPROOF. As Jesus said, wide is the gate and the road that lead to destruction, because there are indeed individuals who shall reject Christ, and many who rejected God from ancient times. In our current generation, our sole mission is to help "find the lost souls" and bring them to Christ, either by teaching others or praying for others, or both. God's mercy and wisdom be upon us all and stop our foolish arguments that foment hate within God's family and His House because "a house divided shall not stand".

Is Christians celebrating Christmas and Easter idolatry? God did tell Israel not to mix the pure worship of Him with the impure worship of idols and pagan traditions. Idolatry is the inclusion of pagan practices into one's worship of God. The church has abandoned God's established Holy Days and observances that was the actual pattern of redemption and the Illustration of the actual mission of Jesus to save all who would be saved, and we created new ones that were born of pagan cults and practices. It's all to common for pastors and church leaders to admit that while it is historically undeniable that these practices such as Easter and Christmas were the core of heathen worship rituals expressly prohibited by God, yet we think that by incorporating those same things in our worship practices we have cleansed them and made them holy in the name of Jesus. We have absolutely NO AUTHORITY to declare anything holy, or clean, or pure. Only God has that authority. It's pretty arrogant that we would take it upon ourselves to replace the ordained Holy Days that God has established and declare, pagan idolatrous worship days as Holy Days. Many pastors make reference to Col.2:16-23 to justify this. "Let no man judge you in eat, or in drink, or in respect of a holiday". In the 1st century the new Christians were refusing to celebrate the Emporer cult worship, and other pagan worship practices, and instead they were observing the Sabbath and probably the other 7 God ordained feast days, and they were taking flak for it, and being accused of being disloyal to Caesar. Paul was just encouraging them in their proper worship of God, not giving them license to mix idolatry in their worship of God. That is idolatry. Both old and new testaments warns against illicit mixtures in our worship. It is absolutely prohibited by God. There is nothing the church has more of an obstinate stubborn stance on than these pagan celebrations. We will be held accountable; especially the pastors and leaders who are supposed to be leading us in an understanding of just how God is to be properly worshipped. 3:23

Wouldn't it be great if christians and churches would stop acknowledging 'halloween" and other WORLDLY customs and celebrations ??????? talk about IDOLATRY !! I used to go to a church which had this "broadway" like CHRISTMAS pageant with WORLDLY songs !!!! and of course, santa and mrs. claus parading down the "sanctuary" in their sleigh 🤮🤮. Is that GOD-honoring ? REPENTANCE is needed in this country....the LORD will NOT bless us otherwise...Is GOD "first" in our life ???
