Just as interest, that tsunami that hit in 2004, when Kata beach is pumping (Waves) at eight feet as I have seen, Rawai beach pumps 6" that wave not only hit the retaining wall but came over and washed all the parked motercycles there away.

Phuket people are nocturnal. They are night creatures. They are all sleeping. They wake up in the after noon. Film again at night and until early morning. See the difference. "Never seen before"? Really? Thought it was normal. Little happens in the day.
