I feel like this photographer always tries to shoot at the maximum focal lenght possible while he could have taking better pictures with a slightly less focal lenght

I was expecting something more extraordinary from this even for 10 years ago. I wanted the D200 so bad back then I bought all the accessories but never the camera. My first digital was the D700 and working with the D850 and D810.

It depends on your usage, how much you want to advance in photography and budget. For people who wants to grow I would the next step above an entry level camera. An entry level is really limiting.

This was a HORRIBLE tutorial! The only thing this video talked about was how to take pictures in an automatic setting, how to turn the flash off, and what the portrait setting does! What about things like how to adjust the Fstop and what it does, Shutter Speed and what that does, and ISO and what that is for!? Those are very important subjects to cover when learning how to use a DSLR.

Whoa! What an unpractical "macro" flash system... Does anybody have the 6 or 8 flash heads needed for it to be a ring flash? With such setup, Profoto results to be cheaper.

If I am using a Nikon D610 (With built in commander mode) do I still need the remote commander shown in this video to use all the functions (such as intensity of each group, etc)?

@bnkrazie

A normal person could buy those lenses. Just have to save for it. Most average professional Nikon lenses cost around $2000 each. Telephotos and Super Teles cost a lot more.

Hi, this video was very special for me!! I have a website dedicated to zoo photography and all my pictures are taken with a Nikon 5000. My preferred lens is actually the Nikon 70-300. I wish I saw your tutorial earlier. I came to the same techniques by try and error I worked as a volunteer in a zoo in Mexico city and loved it, so I'm combining my two passions here: animals and photography To find out more, click on my username now and you'll see the website link in my profile.
