Lol KZbin can be weird that way , I get loads of unnecessary recommendations too , I’m sorry though, I know it can be frustrating to get weird recommendations out of the blue

haven't watched the video but just gonna drop a couple tips, specifically you should level your vigor (get it to 40 asap, seriously it's more important than anything else) and upgrade your weapons as often as possible. keep an eye out for Tunnels dungeons like Limgrave Tunnels and Morne Tunnels, they have lots of smithing stones. good luck with the game!

You are blocking alot, but not utilising guard counters which is a mechanic that might benefit you if you rely on a shield so much. Recheck your tips in the menu and found the one for guard counters.

and dont rely on Torrent too much for combat, you'll get use to it and will find the areas where you cant summon him to be a pain. Learn the patterns.
