Cheers for the review , its a toss up between a ST or hyundai veloster turbo (very rare) or a FN2 type R, going for the smaller turbo engines though looks like a better option

I have a 2013 120d M Sport and have driven from the UK to Italy four times, and also UK to Southern Spain. I’ve never once felt uncomfortable in my seats. The design is the same as the leather in your video, but I have the alcantara/cloth combo. I’m 5ft 9, maybe my height works for the seats, but people often comment on how comfortable my seats are when they jump in. I don’t think it’s fair to say it wouldn’t be good for a long trip. You don’t buy a 135i for the economy. I’m about to upgrade to a newer 140i and would absolutely take that to Italy with no hesitation. Maybe your height is an issue, as you say (don’t know how tall you are) or maybe you just haven’t found that sweet spot. Either way, I’ve owned my 120d from new and covered 120k miles. Eight years and it still feels like a new car, and I never get bored of driving it. I’m looking forward to jumping in to a 140i.

For the manual seats, place your left hand on the top of the steering wheel, hold on to it then use the levers to adjust your position. Your left hand can control your body weight. It’s infinitely faster than using those really slow twisty knobs.

100% agree. Can't stand those slow electric seats especially in a 2 door when you're outside trying to move the seat forward for someone to get in the back. Takes forever but manual is easy and quick.

Watched a couple of reviews on this car and found them to be crap. Feckin kiddie music blasting and inaudible commentary. Started to watch this one and thought, this is going to be better and then had to listen to a rant about the seat for 10 minutes from someone who is well above average height. At least there was no kiddie music.

Is it worth spending the extra money on an Lci or are the early models just as good?
@djibby1157
@djibby1157 4 жыл бұрын
I've got an LCI and have to say I would rather have saved 4 or 5 grand and got the older shape. The only difference anyone will notice is the shape of the rear (which you cant even see when driving). Save the money for fuel, tyres, tax and insurance (you'll need it). If I could do it again I'd get a 2014 m135i and spend 1k on tuning it to over 400bhp. A 400bhp hatchback for £16k is better value for money than anything else on the road.
