Hello, I am a high school student looking to go to university in Italy. I am attending my foundation year first and then continuing on to get my business degree I have not had a lot of guidance in my research. Do you have any additional tips or is there anyone you recommend reaching out to? I live in Tennessee and not a lot of people from around here go abroad for university. I really need help! I am planning on attending Sapienza if I get in. Thank you!

A few addendums if you will to this video. 1. Sturent is not good. At least from my personal experience of trying to use the platform for 5 freaking months. It has advertisements and definitely affordable ones at times, but it is a middleman type agency that manages every postings. So, even if you find some place in your budget, you have to send them an email to express interest, which they may respond or not, and if they do respond, it is always like the owner doesn't want this type of person or that type of person etc, or the room is already under booking arrangements with someone else and any other reason for them to not actually do their work. Maybe it is different for those that are European or from western nations, idk but so far having talked to others it doesn't exactly have reliability in its operations. 2. That's spotahome. 3. The first thing one should do is look for the address of their department because across Rome, Sapienza has different buildings. 4. Metro C even at the time of the video was operational. I think currently they are trying to add more stops to metro A or metro C out of the two. 5. Buses and their timings are hardly reliable. Only reliable transportation that I have seen stand true to the time of its ETA has been trams, and at times even the trams have been super late. 6. Other reliable ways to look for a room are to post in groups, be it telegram, be it univerity whatsapp groups etc, it can be very very difficult. 7. There is also at times posts on subito.it about rooms for rent. I have tried contacting a few and it seems there are genuine posters.

Can you do more advice on how to find an apartment in Rome? I'm moving very soon, and what address do I put on my residence permit application if I'm living out of hostels?

In Italy we don’t have vegan restaurants for tradition. We eat a really big quantity of meat, pasta, pizza and bread. That’s because a lot of people is overweight. I also have to say that I don’t like my country too much, I want to move to Germany, Sweden or Luxembourg😊

Sapienza has hostel for everyone or it is for scholarship students only?

Italian bureaucracy is rude itself to everyone, even natives sometimes. So, don't mind it that much. It's one of the few small issues I find in Italy, the crazy bureaucracy.
