This is the Aerodrome I remember growing up around! Big crowds, nice and tight runway. Kept the show close to the crowd. Great video!

As a former radio DJ I had the pleasure of being a passenger with Daniel as he and Montaine performed these maneuvers over Illinois. They put a chute on me and covered me in towels in case I got sick. I don't like heights and I'm not fond of flying and I was terrified and exhilarated at the same time! Their wings get insanely close and looking at it from a few feet away is shocking. But I didn't pass-out or throw up and somehow arrived back on the tarmac looking cool to my family and listeners. They will always be remembered as spectacular aviators.

Very Good information on the place I still consider home. I use to ride dirt bikes down the abandoned railroads and remember a lot of these locations inside Hopewell Jct. East Fishkill has a deep history in building of the country and the northeast in a whole. Whats amazing is the amount of structures that are still present today which so many have no clue as to their long steeped heritage of the railroads and farm communities all around the Juction. The Hudson Valley Orange Ulster and Dutchess were considered the "Bread Basket" of NYC. Without the D&H canal system and later the D&H railroad of Orange and Ulster coal and food transport coming out of Northern PA without the coal NYC wouldn't have grown as quickly as it did. We supply and support almost every aspect of ongoing life in NYC still to this day, with all our freshwater reservoirs NYC wouldn't exist today as we know it. Unfortunately we can't put pandora back in its box! So it is what it is, and we've created a monster.

Fantastic video and interview! My grandmother is 85. She went to elementary school in a one room school house. After that, her schools became larger. I love talking to her about her time in the one room schoolhouse!

First plane I ever flew on. Southern Airlines. Tupelo, MS to Memphis, TN. Great memories!

This was the very first airliner I flew on as a child between Chicago (Midway) and Charlotte, with a stop in Asheville. I flew on just about every type the old Eastern AL ever operated. Where is this bird now? It won't be at EAA, that's for sure. RIP Super Falcon!
