A great song. I still listen to Via Satellite once in a while. It is definitely one of my favorite albums. Perhaps it didn't become huge because it had a bewildering range of styles - grunge, Queen, straight-ahead hard rock, spare acoustic like this song - and people didn't know what to think of it. For sentimental reasons my favorite song is "Half Asleep," an obscure bit of poetry set to excellent music. "And what of dysfunctional homes Where the dear and dysfunctional roam" I listened to this for two decades and finally followed the lyrics carefully, and realized this was taken from Home on the Range.
