This song hits different now that we knowing the writer is Barry Manilow who we now know is gay. Also, I think the Pointer Sisters were lying. I’m a fan and never heard them mention Dionne as their favorite in interviews lol although I’m sure they loved her. June Pointer later did a duet “Heartbreak of Love”.

Dionne Warwick, sa voix, son nom, sa musique, cette chanson, tout cela rappelle les sentiments d'une époque de plus en plus douce. Cela aurait pu être bien d'autres choses, mais c'était encore une époque où nous n'avions pas la haine et la colère qui semblent être associées à tout de nos jours.
