Hello. Do you prefer your sure grip skates or the riedell 120?
@MichaelAlexander19675 жыл бұрын
At times, T-Stacks moves like an Olympic Gold Medalist Figure Skater, literally gliding as if he's on ice. His skills are top notch & world class.

I'm late for the party, but...Congratulations! I'm happy for you and know the feelin. I can't eat peanut butter and jelly for that long. So I have opted to save for the more affordable Riedell Raven or Riedell Uptown Plus to start out in. I would still be able to get the USA made 120 leather boot in the 1/2 sizes and upgrade later using the original broken in quality boot. Some smooth skatin you did there. Yeah we need to get more people interested to keep these beautiful vintage roller rinks in business. Me and my wife just joined the ranks (rinks) this week to support our local Historic Holiday Skating Center. Enjoy...:-)

TrickieIckie What is the best wheel size and type?
@karinagutierrez15304 жыл бұрын
Daddy Three Legs the type of wheel will depend if you do indoor or outdoor skating. Higher numbered wheels up to 101 will be best for indoor and the lower the number the better the wheels for outdoors.

Do you have any feed back on the sure grip 73 and 83 boots?
@kellybeth2576 жыл бұрын
This is the skate I'm considering getting. I'm currently rolling on the riedell vinyl angel 111 model, the black boots since they're the wider men's size. I love that boot, but maybe wanna upgrade to the leather 120. Do you have any follow up videos on the 120? How do you like them? Does it take very long to break in, I'm a bit worried about that.
@lanaworld774 жыл бұрын
Did you ever get the 120 and if so how has it been
@kellybeth2574 жыл бұрын
@@lanaworld77 I did not. I ended up going to a skate shop and I tried them on. A bit too tall for my preference and very stiff. I ended up getting the Riedell Moxi Jack boot instead and I love them!!! Had them a while now and no complaints at all!
@karinagutierrez15304 жыл бұрын
Kelly Beth Hi, I’m also looking into getting the Riedell 120 boot but I haven’t tried it on yet and I wanted to know if the boot was more stiff than the usual Moxi Jack boot?
@kellybeth2574 жыл бұрын
@@karinagutierrez1530 it is definitely more stiff than the Jack boot! It's taller, also. It was too stiff for me for sure. Just not my preference.
@karinagutierrez15304 жыл бұрын
Kelly Beth Do you think it would be too stiff to do jam skating moves like the crazy legs for example?

I viewed your video and listen to the words that were stated by you. This is why I am going to chime in on this. 6/28/2017 You started out playing the songs near the end before mixing or trying to mix. Later that night I stood in the middle and watch you jump up and down and get Hype when you saw people that had on the Peanut Butter Skates that may have gone skating for the first time or they are beginner skaters jump up and down to anything that is played and that is a false sense of what is going on ,on the skate floor. The true skaters and Skate -Dancers come to the Rink to Skate, Skate-Dance and workout they are Hardcore skaters ,Skate Dancers that have been skating and Skate Dancing for years and are looking for a DJ that is going to take them to that next Level or some may say put them into that “ZONE” that they were looking for. When that Zone take place the Skaters/Skate Dancers get in their “ZONE” you are or have done your job you have provided the music to create a “SHOW” in the rink ,this is what motivate people to come skating, to try skating for the 1st time or to try skating again because they heard ,they saw and they want to be a part of it. I feel for the Hardcore Skaters and Skate-Dancers and can’t say enough about the Hardcore Skaters and Skate-Dancers that come every week that pay to skate and pay to perform for “FREE” in the Middle and the Outside the middle and that is entertainment for the rink , while the DJ is getting paid. Do you know why they do it ? They do It because they love what they do!!!! I know and say this because I am one of them!!!! That said: This is the point where you as a DJ have to serviced the customer that pays your salary. That said: It seems like today everybody is or want to be called a DJ. Atlanta is a challenging place to be a Skating Rink DJ because there are so many styles to cater to ,but that is the Real DJ’s job!! If the DJ can’t do it just walk away and give another DJ a opportunity!! What is a DJ????? the definition taken from Wikipedia A disc jockey (abbreviated DJ, D.J. or deejay) is a person who mixes different sources of pre-existing recorded music as it is playing, usually for a live audience in a nightclub or dance club or via broadcasting. Originally, the "disc" in "disc jockey" referred to gramophone records, but now "DJ" is used as an all-encompassing term to describe someone who mixes recorded music from any sources, including cassettes, CDs, or digital audio files on a CDJ or laptop There are DJs that are truly DJs meaning they, any location that they are hired to perform they service the customer by playing music from one extreme to the other and not by paying music for specific “PERSONS” or “CLICK” They also play the songs all the way through almost to the end before mixing into another song. They will mix in another song that will not conflict with the beat of the song that playing and will not make what I call “NOISE” that is when you have 2 vocals or etc that don’t match or in other word a bad selection of mixing by the DJ. A real DJ will play at their best all the time because they love what they do no matter what amount of money that is being paid and that’s true love for what they do and being a professional. Then you have the other so called DJs. For this point I will leave the D off of DJ and just called them “Js” , that is “Jokers” that play music.. “Jokers” are defined as a want to be DJ that have bad mixing , distorted music, cuts the song after playing it only 30 seconds , are not looking and doing a change up if they are not reaching in this case the skater BKA customers. “Jokers” are also defined as a want to be DJ that don’t have the skills or experience of a real true DJ It does not matter how long you have been playing or where you came from you still can be a Joker. Real talk!!!! People work 8 to 10 hours a day ,it may take them hours to get to and from work ,so they want to come to the Rink because that’s their space to release ,but that can’t if the DJ have shackles on their skates from not playing the music all the way through ,clear smooth mixing and etc.. They will leave the Skating Rink Mad. People will asked who was the DJ HE WAS TERRIBLE??? YOU DON’T WANT TO BE THAT GUY THE “JOKER” I don’t define myself as OLD School or NEW School. If I did define myself it would be ALL School and my reason is that I like all types of music from Trap to House, to R&B ,to Rock and Roll, to Jazz ,to Techno, to South African ,to Tango, to Reggae and the list goes on. That said a Skater or Skate-Dancer should be good as long as the Real DJs are out there are smooth with their mixing can go from 88 bpm to 118bpm without a hick-up. And that is Keeping it real!! Skateman

Hey Ms. Mistory I was born and raised in Atlanta. Over the years I’ve toured the States and out of the country performing on my Skates on a professional level, more on that to come later so stay tuned to H3_ The Artist Skate Nation. Atlanta has always been a place where creativity and one being different is accepted. The Skate scene in Atlanta is also a reflection of Atlanta. Atlanta is a melting pot of creativity, new ideas and people being different as at the Rinks people will see different skate styles and dress ,as the Fashion Industry has yet to catch up. That is what I like about the Atlanta Skate scene, it is not like the other Cities where almost everyone skates the same. Hollywood had started to get stale on creativity and new ideas, therefore I feel that they have moved some of their locations here in Atlanta and the South, for they (Hollywood) have found out that there is a lot of creativity and new ideas in Atlanta and the South that they can exploit and make loads of money. Atlanta has a Deep Skate History that some people from the other parts of the Country are not aware and those people that visit Atlanta, those that move to Atlanta and even those that were born and still live in Atlanta are not aware of the Deep Skate History here. I am Glad to see H3_The Artist Skate Nation is now creating these Opportunities to “UP LIFT THE SKATE CULTURE” by shedding some light and keeping it real about the Skate Community. Mistory, Your Interview and history was “POWERFUL”. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU DO!!! KEEP BEING YOU AND DO NOT CHANGE!!! ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT SOME PEOPLE THAT DON’T EVEN KNOW YOU WILL LIKE WHAT YOU DO AND SOME WILL THROW SHADE!! TRUST ME ONE THIS ONE, AS I HAVE ALSO EXPERIENCE THAT THROUGH OUT MY CAREER YEARS ON THIS EARTH!!! STAY POSITIVE!!! STAY HUMBLE!!!!! STAY TRUE TO YOUSELF AND OTHERS!!! YOU WILL MAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL BECAUSE, YOU ARE P.B.G., (POWERED BY GOD)!!!! I LOVE TO HEAR FROM STRONG SISTERS OUT THERE DOING POSITIVE THINGS!!! GREAT INTERVIEW AS ALWAYS H3_THE ARTIST “SKATENATION”!! I AM OUT LIKE AN 8 TRACK TAPE “” “SKATEMAN” The World is My Skating Rink”
