The recall remedy is only a BAND AID NOT A SOLUTION. GM should fix the problem not limit the speed to the fifth gear until the problem repaired. The solution is to replace the Transmission Valve Body.

For people questioning it. I have lived in henderson my entire life. Its a genius marketing strategy. you wouldnt believe the amount of travelers that come threw and stop just to peak at the viper. Or think "man they have a viper on a sign if they dont care that much about money, maybe they have some good prices." Haha i got to talk to larry bennett (the owner) while doing pest control at his house and he stated "it was unbelievable the influx of customers they got a week after putting that viper up there." But followed with "we didnt do it for that they did it to stand out from the 30 other dealerships you pass on the way threw evansville and henderson." Truly genius. Also larry bennetts driveway lights are actually a jeep. when his gate opens to his driveway the headlights come on and light up the driveway.

This reminds me of an old car dealership here in Arlington, Texas. Specialized in Mustangs. Had a brand new Fox Body GT convertible placed on its sign. Sat for years after the dealership folded. Rusted and ruined. What a waste.

As a CT owner my truck falls in the 2431 group. The recall states that 5% of that number could be effected by the inverter issue not all 2432 trucks. please get your info straight. We are still driving our CT.

So since July when this was occurring, its taken 5 months for them to issue a fix for those truck owners. Does that mean if youve owned a Cybertruck Since July you have essentially not been able to drive your truck for 5 months? Is this the type of efficiencies we should come to expect from Elon Musk when he begins cutting federally funded programs for those that need it? Not looking forward to this.

Everyone commenting here is missing a major point. This viper is a pre production car, it has no vin. Meaning this car was never destined to be on the road, and if not placed as a cool dealership promo would end up crushed. In my eyes this is a major win
