@@Ro53mary if you’re based in EU you can get samples from Jovoys website, they also have a shop in France and UK. Insulo is a great vanilla fragrance, it’s ambery, powdery, floral and allmost has a leathery and smoky vibe from the musc, and a lot of people rated it similar to Kayali 28. I’ve been looking into Kayali 28, hoping that it can be a cheaper alternarive to Insulo. But Kayali 28 is also rated similar to VS Bare Vanilla (and I also can’t stand VS). And while Insulo and Bare Vanilla are nothing alike, I’m curious about why so many people think that both fragrances are similar to Kayali 28.

Give it a little time. It will grow on you and you'll fall IN LOVE WITH IT. it takes a sophisticated pallete to love this perfume. Try many many perfumes, develop your pallete, then return to smell vanilla 28, and fall in love. That's was what happened to me. It's a sophisticated perfume for advanced palletes. Not for vanilla newbs

literally this. i’ve been a perfume head all my life, tried many vanillas as well as many others, i have never before gotten as many compliments as i have for wearing this. saying it doesn’t smell is a joke cus i went on a boat trip and bees were literally trying to attack me and everyone was like omg it’s your perfume it smells so good LOL. i’ve had people ask specifically to buy the same one.

Kayali is definitely overhyped it is body splash and it last just as long as a splash. l will not purchase anymore of her fragrances l have the Vanilla 28 and it takes about 3 years to age and then it’s still not that good. It’s an affordable brand but garbage Vanilla 28.

i think all kay Ali perfumes smell really nice, but when i have tried them in the shops, I found they dont last so i wont buy them call me weird but when i spend money on perfume, i am expecting beast mode, it has to LAST LONG and it has to PROJECT

Exactly. These are meant to be work bags. Don't they know it rains in the UK and we have to carry laptops, lunches, beauty pouches, sometimes a change of shoes for the work party in the evening...lol. I personally think its laziness.

I’m so glad I wasn’t put off by these reviews. My husband compliments me everytime I wear this. All perfumes develop differently based on your own body chemistry, temp etc. On me it lasts all day even after I’ve showered and it smells so delicious.

This one I don’t like by itself. I wanted it to smell like vanilla bourbon but stronger (target) but when I mix vanilla 28 with mix bar vanilla bourbon (edp) on top.. it’s amazing and what I wanted it to smell like

I can't even smell Vanilla 28, then I smelt it on my friend's wrist and i fully gagged coz it was just vanilla extract i picked up - so I agree with you, it's defo hyped. BUT, I was the biggest hater of Kayali, I would smell her fragrances just to hate on them. Spent years shitting on the brand, in the end I now own 6 of her fragrances - she has really nice fragrances, you need to let them macerate and they get better. Just like you I adore niche fragrances, but please give her another chance. This is coming from someone who hated the entire line.

I prefer the Guerlain bosca vanilla to Kayali vanilla 28. I know that all perfumes are made from chemicals but since I have both the Kayali vanilla 28 and the Guerlain bosca vanilla I can say that I do prefer the vanilla smell from the Guerlain bosca vanilla. I feel like the Guerlain bosca vanilla smells a lot less chemically than the Kayali vanilla 28.

Most my perfume is niche, but I love this perfume to boost gourmand or sweet archetype scent. I mix it to make Bianco Latte bearable. I make my ELDO ghost in the shell becomes sweet milk with this. I spray it on my bra and back of my panty to layer it with cheriosa 62. You can even layer it with Byredo Sundazed and ask snob youtuber: xerjoff lira who??? Even it makes YSL babycat and Celine Black Tie louder. Kayal 28 is that versatile girlfriend. She is pretty, not too smart, not rich uptown girl, just the girl next door that we love to have a chat with and we cant dislike

I just got mine and I love love love the scent, however the projection is laughable and the longevity is just average. It definitely has the performance of a B&BW mist. However I have to say that I also got Lavanila Pure Vanilla and the performance, at least for me, has also been poor haha plus the scent itself smells like a clean fresh type of vanilla instead of gourmand or sweet so it's definitely not my thing. Not sure if you've tried Vanilla Royale by Kayali though, it's fantastic, mature, long lasting and with gorgeous projection. Definitely give it a try if you haven't already

I have tried Vanilla Royale in store but again I was unimpressed with the scent. I went in trying to like it but was disappointed by the projection and the scent itself. I still think Lavanila is one of the best you could get your hands on. Thanks for watching x

I don't have this but people say to spray it and let it sit in your collection for alittle while and it gets better and darker.the darker the juice the better it is I guess.

Yes! I like when my perfume has matured a little bit so it gets pungy. You just need to make sure you don't leave it so long it goes bad. Thanks for watching x

I had quite the opposite experience. I like the opening but the dry down is not good for me. It’s sharp and strong and beast mode in your face . Mine is dark purple so maybe it changes as it ages.

I just came across the fragrance and honestly I like it wore yesterday it wore all day. Now I know vanilla scents aren’t really the strongest but I could still smell on my skin. I do believe that everyone body is different in how it interacts with perfume. I am 41 and the age thing really has nothing to do with the scent. I love vanilla and sweeter scents personally. People decades again would dab vanilla extract on their necks.

The top note is sweet but when that evaporates it has an underlying woody smell that reminds of incense/catholic churches. I like sweet smells. Im not a fan.

Oh thank god, finally my peeps! I’ve figured out I don’t like the Kayali DNA overall. it leans middle eastern with patchouli and its so cloying, like “that woman” you get seated next to on the airplane that doesn’t have a clue she’s oversprayed. Thank you for this video!

I bought it Dubai and I tend to gravitate towards Vanillas in perfume. I sprayed it and thought is this it, is this what people are raving about? I was honestly perplexed. I hardly find anyone that dislikes this perfume at all wish I found bizarre, like it couldn’t only be me that feels this way.
