Season 2 of DR is finally an actual Kai season, I’d say the only thing really holding it back from being a full fledged Kai season is his screen time in the second half, but he was the first to use rising dragon, he was the one who beat Nokt, up till now, he’s never actually defeated a main villain on his own nor really had his own season, so Kai was an absolute treat in this season, finally being the focus ninja.

He wasn’t really the focus character in tournaments of the elements but he’s close, this season was more a garmadon season. he shared the hands of time with Nya, so it wasn’t really his own season the fire chapter of secrets of forbidden spinjitzu was close but was more a Wu season And Ice chapter was also close but it was kinda shared with Nya, Lloyd, and Zane So really the only thing he had going was the pilot which was for sure centred around Kai, but he didn’t beat the villain, Samukai.

yo i just thought of this theory. perhaps you could think about this valu? if every “ part “ of a dragons rising season counted as a full season like in masters of spinjitzu, wouldnt lego be copying the original storyline? season 1, the ninja fight an army of snakes and they train a lot, same with arin and sora fighting imperium with the ninja. season 2, they finally beat up the overlord and lloyd matures into the ultimate spinjitzu master. same with season 1 part 2 of dragons rising. they beat beatrix and sora does like a cool tech move. season 3. they face a previous enemy and his army,defeating the overlord but a ninja gone or dead. same with season 2 part 1. lord ras and the wolf mask warriors. season 2 part 2 is set to continue the storyline concerning a tournament. same with season 4 of masters of spinjitzu.

Kai id my 2nd favorite ninja after Jay and Im sho happy that he got the development he deserved. And now it's time for Jay to get the development he deserves. And they're cooking it now. Kai and jay are the most popular ninjas and they should get the development they deserve. Hope we can finally see how powerful jay is when he aint holding back.

Finally someone who agrees with me. Ppl always say Jay doesn't need development bcs he got two focus seasons, when in reality Jay only developed for one season which is Skybound but all the development disappeared afterwards and starting from Season 8 Jay just turned into the dumb guy of the team and ppl say "Jay doesn't deserve to be focused". Atleast there's ppl who think Jay needs focus. So thnx

I see Dragon Rising as a make up for what happened to Kai and Jay in Season 11 & 12 where they were suppose to have another season to them but it got wasted. Also Evil Jay might be awesome with him fighting his Yang and friends, explore more on his birth parents, and his path to restore his goodness.
