no need to outline it; just use the scale (K) tool and you keep the flexibility to make changes if you convert it to a component (so all instances will get the updated changes)

Scale works, but what if you have a component where you want to use a smaller icon, say 20x20. If you scale the icon, it seems fine until you change the icon in the component instance to something else - at that point the icon size is 20x20, but the thickness is 1.5 again, because the scale information is not stored. Is this a bug or do you know a solution? As a developer you want an icon with a path, as a designer you want an outlined icon 😞

@@joseflinha If you export your icon that is wrapped in a union it will output the .svg as a path; so full flexibility for the designer and the correct format for the developer. If you want it to scale also the lines, you need to use the scale tool (K) and not just adjust the width and height of the icon
