@@apexackerman4557 I'm happy to see him do well, but i think it was always apparant that he would play a long career abroad, he had such a unique skillset and determination to succeed. He has worked hard to get where he is and is now enjoying the benefits of his efforts. I hope we get to see more of his talents in the MLS.

Few remember when Mazda debuted its tiny new prototype the 717 in 1982 in the middle of the giant 956, Rondeau's, WM and Nimrod's that ended up on this journey. It was a great evolution, actually Mazda won this event a little in part because of the experience of a long evolution process. Winning at Le Mans takes time.

Amazing video! I'm wondering... Someone did do a tribute video with WRC 97 or 98 which I watched some years ago and used nice music like: Fatboy Slim - Ya Mama and Glasvegas - Geraldine. Was it maybe you or could it be someone else who did it before? 🤔 But coming back really special video from you. Thank you and greetings :)

That has to be the most annoying misconception of this car. The rulechange was decided way before this race and it was the only race out of 21 that this car won. It wasn't quick, it was reliable and took advantage of other's misfortunes to win.

What a tribute. Everything fell into place for what would be David vs Goliath. A race car that never really had the pace except it had the reliability when everyone else didn't.... It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or mile... Winning is winning ✊ I'd love to meet Jacky, Johnny and the other drivers. The expertise that all this tech went into the FD RX-7 is what made it the cult car that it is!!!
